9/11 See other 9/11 Articles Title: "Dancing Israelis" Arrested On 9/11 Later Sued The Govt, But Lost Their Case In 2004, four of the infamous "Dancing Israelis" filed a federal civil rights lawsuit against Attorney General John Ashcroft and wardens of the Federal Bureau of Prisons. They claimed that their detention was illegal and that their civil rights were violated, suffering racial slurs, physical violence, religious discrimination, rough interrogations, deprivation of sleep, and many other offenses. The lawsuit also stated "As Israelis and as Jews, plaintiffs themselves are sworn enemies of al-Qaida and Osama bin Laden." Their lawyer announced "the law suit will serve as an important public forum to debunk the lie that Israel or the Mossad was behind the 9/11 terrorist attacks. It will show that there was no Jewish conspiracy as the Arab world continues to claim and put an end to this racist blood libel." To put it plainly, the case was dismissed not because of any of the issues involved or merits of the case, but because the plaintiffs strangely failed to serve the defendants properly as per the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure. The dismissal was affirmed on 8/30/10. A similar civil rights lawsuit alleging violation of due process and physical and mental abuse was filed against Ashcroft and other government agents by seven Muslim men (Turkmen v. Ashcroft) who were arrested after 9/11 and held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn NY. (This is the same jail where the 5 Israelis were held). Five out of seven of the plaintiffs eventually agreed to settle the case with the government, who paid the men $1.26 million dollars. Ironically, Judge John Gleeson heard both the Israeli case and the Muslim case. If the Muslims could properly serve the defendants, settle their case and receive compensation for what they suffered, why couldn't the Israelis? It appears they didn't even want the case to go to trial because they let it get dismissed for such a stupid reason as not sending a certified proof of service to the defendants. surely their two Jewish lawyers know how to serve a lawsuit. Jewish Lawyers? I never heard of such a thing. I have heard of the "Scribes" who were Canaanites AND Edomites who lived in Judah and started 'calling' themselves "Jews".
