Title: DHS Arrests, Imprisons Motorist For Invoking 5th Amendment, Deletes All His Videos (But Files Were Backed-Up!)

Witless Homeland Security Agents Unaware That Videos Of Their Crimes Were Backed-Up on Dropbox

An incredible video has surfaced of a motorist trying to invoke his rights at a warrantless internal checkpoint. U.S. Department of Homeland Security officers detained and arrested the motorist after he invoked his 5th Amendment right to remain silent at the so-called 'border' checkpoint on I-35 in Laredo, TX. In the initial exchange when the man opted to remain silent, the officers arrogantly claimed "Okay sir, right now you are facing several charges." When he asked why he was being detained, they replied "We don't have to have probable cause sir."

They demanded he pull over to secondary inspection area, where they then threatened to break his window if he didn't roll it down for them. They accused him of "resisting or impeding an officer inspection" and then announced "you are under arrest. Your phone will also be seized." They then handcuffed him, threw him in a holding cell, fingerprinted him, photographed him, and threatened him with "several charges" unless he deleted the videos from his cell phone. The man, who's a military veteran, also had the DHS supervisor threaten to have his concealed carry permit revoked and to ban him permanently from all government installations. And all he was trying to do that day was drive to work and mind his own business.

In an exclusive interview with LibertyFight.com, the man explained "I was detained for about an hour, fingerprinted and photographed. I was told that I would be released without charges if I deleted the video from my phone."

Little did the witless agents know that the files had been saved to backup. "I had no problem deleting it because I have a dropbox that it downloaded to," he said. "I am sick of the way these agents think they own you."

Are you getting "PAID" on your website for advertisements?

I just took the link from whatreallyhappened and it went to your site showing adds for an item I just bought. Google sells 'searches' and the information associated with them to advertisers which in turn pay people like you to "insert" the add in the web page when Google leaves a tracking cookie on the computer which used Google as a search tool.

That's why everyone I know uses www.startpage.com for searches.

Give it a spin.

I think most websites have ads, except Christine's here, of course. ;-)

the websites which contract with google adsense have no say in what advertisers, or what ads, appear on the site, although webmasters can request that certain type ads be stricken.

when I'm surfing around I see a lot of ads for jewish products, for example, even on my website. I think those ads are tailored especially to me and my browsing habits, which I think is hilarious.

At that point he proceeded to tell me that if he were to have me prosecuted that he would have my concealed handgun license revoked and that I would never again be able to set foot on another government installation. He then proceeded to tell me that if I deleted the video from my phone that I would have his word that he would not prosecute me and I would be free to leave.

The "agent" has NO power. He's NOT a district attorney, judge, or jury, he CANNOT "prosecute" ANYBODY. He CANNOT revoke ANYBODY's concealed carry license.

People need to understand the LIMITS of these JBT's and spit in their faces when they huff and puff about what they're allegedly going to do.

I can't believe that people fall for this kind of bullshit from people wearing cheap uniforms......

I'm not sure about this, but it's possible to have your phone upload to a distant server so even if the phone is destroyed the pictures are saved.

did you sign up for their free startmail program? I did, and I think they sent me the link when the program was ready, but then I could never find it again.

people say google is evil, and they very well may be, but I find startpage to be very slow and I once caught them censoring search results. try typing in jew or holohoax, for example.

that's a damn good point, X.

why don't you take a drive down to this Laredo checkpoint and bring your camera. I will provide your fuel and meals, if you give me license to your video. LOL!!

there is one called dropbox and another called bambuser which you can save the files online in real time, but I think you need a good connection to do so, which is not always available when on the go.

ive heard of these programs and they sound like a great idea, but I never downloaded them, mainly because im not worried that some cop is going to take my camera. that would be an insane situation that I don't ever forsee.

He was on the defense, he should have gone on the offense and DARED the agents to call the Texas DPS (highway patrol) or local sheriff and prefer them to "press charges". They would decline to "press charges" because he didn't break any TEXAS STATE LAWS.

Always KNOW the limits of power of whoever gets in your face and stand your ground.

True, but he does have the power to lie. And official sanction to do such.

Lie to....? Local district attorney?? No bueno, it's all bluff from the FedGov jerks and nobody is going to carry their water at the county level. The JBT's only legal recourse is to drag a federal attorney into the fray, and they don't have time for the low-IQ boys-in-green and their petty grievances.

As they disclose, startpage is powered by goog, they just don't track or trace as goog does.

Typing in jew? got over 373K results, enough for me.

Until startmail gets the import address book feature fully functional, I'm not using it.

MS's cloud-based www.outlook.com is doing a fine job here.

I suppose it's possible to have an antenna on your car to have a good connection, or even use it to store the pictures in storage device in your car. If not, someone will soon figure this out. Either way, go ahead and confiscate the camera. The pictures are stored elsewhere.

wow, they mustve changed it. believe me I had quite a problem with them one time because I noticed on an ordinary search that they did not give the same results as google., then I learned that they had by default the 'family' settings and you had to add a cookie in order to stop the family friendly results. I thought it should be the opposite, and ditched them, especially since they advertise no cookies.

yeah they say it was a benign cookie. but the point was I didn't like their PC censoring of the results,. it appears they have now changed that practice and give you the dirt upon request.

Soon the feds will figure this out and have jammers on site where they do their dirty work, blocking any cell connections to the outside world.

They now use google as their search engine but the search is pegged to Startpage, not the individual who originated the search.

It means when you do a search on startpage, startpage actually does a google search and shows you the results. The results are the same as if you had done a google search.

The difference is that google records the IP and search text and startpage doesn't. While google knows what you are looking for (has to to generate the results), if you use startpage, it won't know who on the planet did that search. Google will assume it's some employee of startpage.
