NWF Lowest I've seen $3.12 Avg 3.18

A station like tom thumb or raceway sells for 3. 12 and right across the street exxon or shell is 3.25 or higher

Is it the gas credit card that drives people to pay higher? The gas is the same right?

Yes, the generic CC cost is higher.

Using an affiliated CC can save from 5-10 cents/gallon.

I've not found anyone who offers a discount for quiche payments, yet...but, I continue to ask.

Back in 1960, I moved from NYC to here in the hills.

Gasoline was 22 cents a gallon, my salary was $7000.00

Now gasoline is $3.49, sixteen times higher than in 1960

Rule of thumb says my olde job should be paying $112,000.00.

Nowhere near.

What happened?

Americans voted in Lyndon Johnson and the "great society.

The gravy train was off and running.
