Immigration See other Immigration Articles Title: BREAKING: Governor Defies Obama and Refuses to House Illegals The opposition against President Obama continues to rise, as more Americans, both in politics and out, are starting to see through the border crisis, recognizing it’s a ploy to help Obama once again break the law, bypass Congress, and implement his agenda. States at the border are experiencing heavy economic strain as local communities struggle to come up with funds and other resources to support the influx of illegals flooding into the U.S. While many people think that the immigration crisis only impacts those states that are along the border, recent developments in states like Michigan prove otherwise. Obama’s plan to orchestrate this invasion of illegals includes transporting these individuals all across the country to be housed in shelters established in communities both large and small. No one is exempt, and no one is safe. Gov. Terry Branstad of Iowa has decided not to play Obama’s game, refusing to house illegals in his state. Gov. Terry Branstad said Monday that he does not want Iowa to host any of the thousands of children from Central America who have crossed the U.S.-Mexico border alone. During a news conference, Branstad said he was not aware of any of the children currently living in Iowa and that state has not been contacted by the federal government about housing any immigrant children. He said the government’s focus should be on securing the borders. “The first thing we need to do is secure the border. I do have empathy for these kids,” Branstad said. “But I also don’t want to send the signal that (you) send your kids to America illegally. That’s not the right message.” Branstad was among a group of governors that met Sunday with Health and Human Services Secretary Sylvia Matthews Burwell as the Obama administration sought support from states that could host the children. Branstad is absolutely right on. America was founded on the idea of the rule of law, and those that break the law get punished accordingly. These individuals who are crossing the border illegally might be fleeing a hostile environment, but they are still not obeying the law, and as such, they should be sent back home. Those who want to come to the country the right way are welcome here, regardless of where they come from. President Obama is using illegals to help pass amnesty so that he can build the Democratic voter base, which is a disgusting tactic, but one that’s right in line with progressive thinking. He needs to be impeached immediately to prevent him from continuing to ignore the law and create policies that are destructive to the American way of life. That will never happen. The "government" is one unit, one party, with one goal. The "citizen unwashed masses" are the enemy.
