Just how many illegal aliens is President Obama planning to amnesty and grant work permits to after the election?

An announcement to federal contractors that the government is seeking to print millions of Green Cards and Work Permits gives us an idea of what the president has in mind.

Daily Caller:

President Barack Obama deputies are secretly preparing to print work permits for up to 11 million illegal immigrants over the next two years, despite the nation’s high unemployment, stalled wages and increasing automation.

If Obama actually goes ahead with the plan that is sketched in a federal contract document, he would provide employers with the ability to legally hire 13 million foreign workers even as 12 million Americans turn 18 in 2015, 2016 and 2017.

The plan to print millions of work permits and green cards — dubbed “permanent resident cards” — is outlined in Oct. 3 and Oct. 6 federal announcements to contractors.

The contract plan was discovered by the Center for Immigration Studies, which favors a lower level of immigration.

“The objective of this procurement is ... to produce Permanent Resident Cards (PRC) and Employment Authorization Documentation (EAD) cards,” said the Oct. 6 official announcement at FedBizOpps.gov.

“The requirement is for an estimated 4 million cards annually with the potential to buy as many as 34 million cards total,” the document says.

But the proposed five-year contract includes a so-called “surge” capability to produce an additional five million work-permit cards in one year.

“The Contractor shall demonstrate the capability to support potential ‘surge’ in PRC and EAD card demand for up to 9M [nine million] cards during the initial period of performance to support possible future immigration reform initiative requirements,” said the government’s description of the pending contract.

Those contract terms would give Obama the technical ability to hand out more than nine million work permits in one year, or 13 million in two years, as part of his much-touted unilateral immigration plan.

The plan could give work permits to more foreigners than the total number of U.S. jobs that have been created by businesses during his tenure This is just a call for bids on contracts, so it doesn't mean that the president is planning to make 11 million aliens legal - at least, right away.

What's worrying is that he will have the capability of legalizing not only the 4-5 million family members of DREAMers that has been suggested previously, but also millions more before the end of his term who would meet some other criteria established by the administration.

It's clear that the president is thinking beyond this round of amnesty to something far more expansive. And until someone steps forward to block his way, he will almost certainly carry it out.

It is about replacing the citizens of this country who vote for freedom, with those who would gladly vote for freebies and oppression. IE, more welfare, more free healthcare, and more taxes heaped on the working class, while liberties are curtailed in the name of driving down crime.

One small quibble with this article. It says "...The Federal Government was given specific national sovereignty over such things as war, peace, treaties (within the sphere of powers delegated), print money, define and punish piracies and felonies on the high Seas, make uniform rules of naturalization for foreigners who migrated to some State per State law, etc...."

No, the federal government was NOT given any power or authority to "print money" but to COIN money and regulate the value thereof.

And as far as this unlawful invasion that Obama and other politicians are promoting, that is prohibited by Article IV, section 4.

"The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence."

It is the job of the legislature and the President (when congress can't be convened) to protect the states from invasion, not aid and abet it.

You're welcome, Lod. The politicians piss me off to no end. The Constitution that they ALL take an oath to preserve, protect and defend is not complicated. If I can understand it why can't they?

They understand it, they just choose not to follow it.

Why should they? there seems to be no consequences for not doing so.

Yeah, I am sure you have noticed how they "take full responsibility" for their murders and whatnot (like Janet Reno did about Waco) and there are never any consequences for them. It's easy to say that you take responsibility when it costs nothing. Of course she will pay for that in the next life if not this one.
