Leftists Tied to Soros Are Racists with Violent Criminal Fantasies, But Nobody Seems to Care | 16008751_sLiberal hypocrisy never ceases to amaze me. Liberals tout themselves as the examples of virtue, tolerance, and understanding. They stand up for understanding among all people. Unless they disagree with your politics. A recently discovered case of liberal hypocrisy may take the cake, though. Angelo Carusone, the Executive Vice President of Media Matters, a leftist group with ties to George Soros, apparently has some issues. Now, maybe he thinks his issues are okay because he runs such quality websites as StopRush.net, which lists advertisers on Rush Limbaugh’s radio program in an attempt to intimidate them into no longer advertising with Limbaugh. Lots of tolerance and understanding there. But it gets worse (read what he wrote at your own risk. NSFW.)… Carusone apparently has issues with people from Bangladesh and those with… um… gender confusion issues. So, he has issues with people from Third World countries and people that belong to groups defined by liberal pet issues? Yes, that’s what we’re saying. And he says it in really disturbing ways that would have any non-liberal crucified in public for the world to see. But this guy gets a pass because he’s a liberal. And, then, you have another liberal activist, Mike Osborne, who wrote an elaborate fantasy about kidnapping and torturing Rush Limbaugh. Even if you support Osborne’s First Amendment right to write that story, it’s extremely disturbing. And if a conservative had written it, liberals would be calling for you or me to have a psychiatric evaluation (at tax payer expense) and treatment (under our personal, Obamacare-compliant healthcare plan, naturally. We would have to cover our own deductibles.). But, again, Osborne can get a pass and work with high-quality, tolerant groups like Stop Rush. When are liberals going to stand up and show intellectual honesty? When are they going to show integrity? If they accuse non-liberals of racism, social phobias, and of having violent fantasies, why aren’t liberals policing themselves and holding themselves to their own standards? The simple answer is: because they are liberals, and one of the fundamental, real-world meanings of that word is, “I can do and say what I want, and you have to support and pay for it. But you can’t say anything of the sort because I might be offended.” That’s about as close to a textbook example of hypocrisy as I’ve ever seen.
