Jon Stewart Seeks (and Finds) an Expletive Big Enough to Describe the Democrats’ Midterm Election Losses
On November 4, 2014, election night, Jon Stewart described the midterm Democratic defeat as a “bloodbath.” But apparently that wasn’t quite descriptive enough for the Comedy Central pundit and host of the Daily Show. Just two days later, he finally found words that described the magnitude of the GOP victory – words and, as shown in the video above, an image.
As one Liberal who’s not afraid to call out Democratic candidates for their miscalculations or misdeeds, Stewart can always be counted on to tell the truth as he sees it. In this case, he sees what the rest of us can see clearly: This election was a resounding reaffirmation of American values, and a rejection of Barack Obama.
