A woman shopping for wrapping paper in the Hanukkah section of a Southern California Walgreens said she was outraged to find a roll with a design that she claimed resembled swastikas.

Cheryl Shapiro said she was with her grandson at the store in Northridge on Saturday when she spotted a geometric blue-and-silver print that featured lines connecting in a pattern reminiscent of the Nazi symbol.

"I couldn't believe my eyes, I had no idea what to do," she said. (BULLSHIT! She knew exactly what to do)

Shapiro said the rolls were removed after she complained to managers.

"I told them I wanted this taken off the shelves immediately - not just your store, but national," Shapiro said. "I was really putting my foot down because I was appalled by this."

At least one other store in Chatsworth carried the same wrapping paper, NBC4 has learned.

A Walgreens spokesman told NBC4 the company was looking into the sale of the item.

"I came home and I spoke to my rabbi. He couldn't believe it," Shapiro said. "I'm still very upset about it, that something like this could be on the market."

Hitler didn't die in the bunker.

He did not die in the bunker. He escaped to Spain. It is all in the three book series titled, "Gestapo Chief" by Gregory Douglas. ;)

Eizenstat told reporters Friday that Paris would pay a $60 million lump sum to Washington to compensate the survivors or their spouses and heirs.

He had no exact figure of how many could be eligible, but said it was expected to run into "several thousand." (See above where it's quoted that '3,000 survived')

Survivors could receive up to $100,000 each, while spouses or heirs could get several tens of thousands of dollars, he said.

Decent clergy would calm their flocks but no. Fanning the fires against counter-clockwise swastikas is anti-first peoples, anti-Buddhist, and anti-Hindu.

...in the Hanukkah section...and so nearly resembling Israel's national color scheme too. Likely she doesn't want stores to start understocking Hanukkah merchandise as too lawsuit risky for them so, I hope I'm wrong but the direction this seems to be going is the Holiday Wrapping Paper Industries and such labeling all of their products, even Christmas and Easter items, with kosher stamps of rabbinic blessing and approval before they go on the market.
