I went out to da sto yesterday and da mall and you would have thought they were giving away money. Terribly overcrowded. Glad I got done what I needed to do yesterday and didn't have to go out today.

It's unbearable. Christmas has gotten out of hand IMO due to the commercialism of it all and the reduction of our ability to focus on Christmas and with all of the Happy Holiday gibberish replacing any mention of actual Christmas.

We have minimal shopping thank heavens, and my wife and I do not exchange gifts unless we actually need something anyway and then use those as gifts of sorts.

We do most of it online in Novemember and early December. I do not enjoy going anywhere near a mall or any commercial area this time of year. Friday (day after Christmas) is going to be just as bad.

It's really sad.
