With the passing of Goldi under unfortunate conditions, I'd like to nominate war to take over that Popsicle stand.

He's retired and has a few bucks in the bank. At least I think so.

He can't post over there (or here) and I can't either, so I'm throwing this idea into the ring.

I'll send this link to him unless JT yanks it.

Happy Holidays to all.

He can't post over there (or here)...

I've never heard of anyone not being able to register and post here.

News to me.

Yep.

When you've been booted, banned, terminated, or otherwise deemed unworthy of other sites, give 4um a shot; you may have found your interweb home.

One favorite denizen on Freak Repubic threatened to come here and smash my face in.

Here the only brickbat I get is how stupid I am, that I can live with.

Yes, I've been banned from those other places.

Not here, yet. Thanks, christine.

War and I are discussing which one of us is the biggest a-hole.

For the record, I am.

Eff you war, even if you can't post here.

Okay, I already know.

I have a hard time digging up any kind of feelings for what happens over there.

When government gains the power to control the use of private property, it becomes possible for the politically dominant to profit by high commodity prices using government regulation to constrain supply. One merely drives competitors out of business by manipulating the perception of risk to a land use preferred by a democratic majority. - Mark Edward Vande Pol

Trust me, I know stupid, and there are NO stupid members here.

There are posters with different opinions, but, that does not make them stupid.

Just as the principal told Forrest Gump's mother, "Your boy IS different."

Internet lunacy of the highest order there.

They're the opposite side of the same coin; if you're able to do one, you're able to do the other with equal enthusiasm.

They compliment each other, imo.

As far as I know War is welcome to post here. Now that we've all had our feast there is nothing like a good fight, and his defense of Obama would fit the bill.

I passed your words to him. He was banned here you know. I don't remember the exact details, nor do I want to do a database search. What I do recall is that he got under your skin.

I'd like to see him posting again.

I know this guy whose nickname is Ha-ha.

He told me another guy at the tavern has lung cancer (Gary) then does his ha-ha thing.

I said, Ray what are you laughing about? Ha-ha replies, "It's better than crying."

I have unRETIRED war's account and put him at FULL status.

It's been so long I don't remember the exact circ that led to my retiring the account, but I do recall his being very caustic.

Thank you, I appreciate that.

Whether he shows up here or not is up to him. I've been yanking his chain a bit because I think he's a good person. And trying to get him out of retirement.

I sent your reply to him. I've got to look up that word caustic.

Amazon is a monster.

My good friend, whose wife I can't stand, told me two hours ago that Bezos is West Point grad, class of '79.

I didn't know that.

Edit: I just looked it up and it isn't true.

I do my best to be polite to them.

I think she's one of those wimmen whose mission in life is to make their man miserable.

I’d Cc him, but his wife reads all his emails.

I just copied that from an email.

We send him titty pics once in a while, knowing she'll see them. So I guess we're not really sending them to him.

Oh, his mother-in-law is living there for months now. Don't get me started...

After reading the Moving Forward thread at LP it sickens me to find out just how much of an enemy of liberty Sally actually was. That she would use a hardcore leftwing statist such as Gatlin as a sounding board and for advice is disgusting and explains why she would always ban small government types.

What's even sicker is that the remnant of LP are actually going to allow this same hardcore leftist to have a say in the future of the site. By the time he's finished with the place you'll have to wear black pajamas to post.

Effing trash

Calling Ron Paul an isolationist is like calling your neighbor a hermit because he doesn't come over and break your window - unknown

I WITHDRAW MY CONSENT!
Any perceived compliance with unconstitutional “laws” or orders put forth by government employees is NOT recognition of their authority; it is simply the result of carefully calculated submission to an entity exhibiting superior firepower.
