Cancer Is the Best Way to Die, Says Former BMJ Editor
A recent BMJ editorial received many comments when its former editor Richard Smith, MD, wrote that cancer was the best way to die. He examined the ways a person can die (including sudden death, dementia, organ failure, and cancer), and suggested a higher benefit for patients and their families who have time to reflect and prepare for the end of their lives when dying from cancer.
