Liberals Are Going Crazy (Again) Over Sarah Palin’s Latest Facebook Photo (Yes, There’s a Gun)

In her few short years in the national spotlight, Sarah Palin has become a magnet for Liberal contempt. High on the list of things they hate about the woman is her love of hunting. Recently Palin was in Texas filming for the second season of “Amazing America with Sarah Palin,” her show on the Sportsman Channel. She hadn’t been in the state long when she bagged her first prey, a huge javelina.

“Everything’s bigger in Texas,” she captioned the photo. The former governor also posted a link to her daughter’s blog, where Bristol had posted her mom had bagged this “big fat wild Texan hog” not long after getting off the plane. The post now has almost 4,000 comments, many of them negative.
One commenter, Albany Garcia, posted, “A Killer can’t be President of a Nation.”
Palin didn’t run for president, of course. She ran for vice-president. But many American presidents have been hunters, beginning with George Washington, going down through Teddy Roosevelt and both Presidents Bush. Even Democratic President Carter hunted. In fact, half of our last 50 presidents have been hunters.
