Americans who have no experience with, or knowledge of, tyranny believe that only terrorists will experience the unchecked power of the state. People often come up and state they've seen someone who bears a strong resemblance to me. I generally respond with a sly smile accompanied with a wink and say "That's certainly possible. My Dad got around". Men always get that right away.
