Referenced the livestream.com Bollyn book tour video [#3 of 3], which you've posted here, at 3 postings there [#29-#31] for relevance to those discussion issues.

At 1:26:19-1:29:13 of your Bollyn video, he discusses Executive Director of the 9/11 Commission, Philip D. Zelikow; sidenotes: who was appointed by Obama in 2011 to the Intelligence Advisory Board. [Ref. Obama appoints 9/11 scriptwriter & master criminal Zelikow to Intelligence Advisory Board by Kevin Barrett, 9.5 minute video included] He had also been named by G. W. Bush to a position on the President's Foreign Intelligence Advisory Board and, in 2002, became the executive director of the Markle Task Force on National Security in the Information Age. In addition to those facts noted at the above Wikipedia link about him, he is also acclaimed there for his "public myth" expertise and as being an instrumental architect of the G. W. Bush administration's doctrine of Preemptive War.

At 1:28:06 of this Bollyn video, he displays a slide pic of a December 1998 article, titled: "Catastrophic Terrorism: Imagining the Transformative Event", pertaining to the 1993 WTC bombing [12/25/2007 911blogger.com Ref. Philip David Zelikow: Catastrophic Terrorism More Shocking than PNAC!, 10.25 minute video included], which Zelikow co-authored 3 years before 9/11 along with 2 others, one of them being John Deutch, a former Clinton CIA Director of Central Intelligence (DCI) from May 10, 1995 until December 15, 1996 and United States Deputy Secretary of Defense from 1994 to 1995. The other Zelikow co-author is Ashton Carter, who is: a US Department of Defense (DOD) senior official nominated by Obama on December 5, 2014 to replace Chuck Hagel as the US Secretary of Defense and is now the United States Secretary of Defense-designate; recently confirmed by the Senate with a vote of 93–5 on February 12, 2015.

For the 1998 "Catastrophic Terrorism" article, written with Zelikow and former CIA DCI Deutch, Carter is listed simply then as a "Ford Foundation Professor of Science and International Affairs at Harvard University's John F. Kennedy School of Government" and as a "former Assistant Secretary of Defense". Just wanted to add these co-author details here because Bollyn didn't mention them at all in his Zelikow talk, nor that the infamous PNAC "Pearl Harbor" [catastrophic and catalyzing event] phrasing doubtless originated with them and their earlier article. Kevin Barret: Zelikow co-authored a 1998 article in Foreign Affairs speculating on the likely political, social, and psychological consequences of a new Pearl Harbor style terrorist event, such as the destruction of the World Trade Center.

This is excerpted from extensive 9/11 research at the opening post of 4um Title: "Was 9/11 an Inside Job, or a Mossad Job?", 2013:

It is worth noting that, in December 1993, Philip Zelikow and John Deutch wrote an article entitled “Catastrophic Terrorism” in Foreign Affairs, where they speculated on what would have happened if the WTC bombing had been instead a nuclear attack: “An act of catastrophic terrorism that killed thousands or tens of thousands of people and/or disrupted the necessities of life for hundreds of thousands, or even millions, would be a watershed event in America's history. It could involve loss of life and property unprecedented for peacetime and undermine Americans' fundamental sense of security within their own borders in a manner akin to the 1949 Soviet atomic bomb test, or perhaps even worse. […] Like Pearl Harbor, the event would divide our past and future into a before and after. The United States might respond with draconian measures scaling back civil liberties, allowing wider surveillance of citizens, detention of suspects and use of deadly force”.[24] Here we have, already, the reference to Pearl Harbor (a code-word for “false pretext” for any informed person) that will be recycled in the infamous September 2000 PNAC report Rebuilding America's Defenses , where the authors regret that “the process of transformation” they advocate for the military “is likely to be a long one, absent of some catastrophic and catalyzing event — like a new Pearl Harbor”.

Zelikow says that public assumptions often grow out of “searing events”: “particularly ‘searing’ or ‘molding’ events take on ‘transcendent’ importance and, therefore, retain their power even as the experiencing generation passes from the scene.” [Zelikow, 1999] In a previous publication, Zelikow had written about how a “catastrophic terrorism” event could constitute a momentous, history-shaping milestone: “An act of catastrophic terrorism that killed thousands or tens of thousands of people… would be a watershed event in America’s history.… Like Pearl Harbor, such an event would divide our past and future into a ‘before’ and ‘after’” (see November 1997-August 1998).
