Perfect examples of such are the JFK assassination, the OKC bombing, the 9/11 attacks, the wars against nations who have not threatened or harmed us in any way, etc.
This recent plethora of lies and false narratives concerning Putin, Russia, and Ukraine is just the most blatant and dangerous pile of steaming excrement that our so-called free press has ever delivered for public consumption in my life time.
It goes beyond yellow journalism, it's official propaganda with no basis in fact, and so-called news agencies just parrot it as if it were actual fact with no double checking or reporting of contradictory evidence.

I saw this last night. What struck me was the Mario Draghi story. He was the head of the Bank of Italy and a former Goldman Sachs VP. He was told to get Italy into the EU so the euro could become accepted as an international currency. He leased out Italian gold and took a flyer in the market to make money. Problem was he invested in Long Term Capital Management. They went bust. Jim Rickards was called in to clean up the mess. That was funny. The Smartest Men in the Room bought in to LTCM just before it went belly up.
They were out the gold and the money they sold it for.
