On 3/18/15 we received a note from Google Adsense informing us that all ads for our site had been disabled. Why? Because of this page showing the horrific abuses committed by U.S. troops in Iraq at Abu Ghraib. This page has been up for 11 years. During all that time Google Adsense has been running ads on our site but as Washington gets ready to re-invade Iraq, and in bombing, killing, and abusing more civilians, they suddenly decide that their "anti-violence" policy, which prohibits "disturbing material," prohibits any depiction of violence committed by the U.S. government and paid for with your tax dollars. This page is the third-most-visited page in our history, getting over 2 million page views since it was posted. To say this is an utter outrage would be an understatement: it is quite simply the kind of situation one might expect to encounter in an authoritarian country where state-owned or state-connected companies routinely censor material that displeases the government. Is Google now an arm of the U.S. State Department? This is a big hit on our funding. You can bet the boys in Washington dont like us and would just love to shut us down. Dont let them get away with it! We need your help today, and you can do that in two ways: Thank you to all our supporters. You can confirm that Antiwar.com is being blocked by going to Adsenseblockchecker. Eric Garris, March 18, 2015 because we have a page showing the Abu Ghraib abuses. On 3/18/15 we received a note from Google Adsense informing us that all ads for our site had been disabled. Why? Why? Seriously? You're being put out of the information business genius. Time to drop the quill and buy a gun. Make it two.

Time to drop the quill and buy a gun. Make it two. Patty Buchanan's homo buddy Justin raimando is kind of 'funny' (intrinsically disordered to put it correctly) and very melodramatic. In one of his articles last week raimando wrote: "Before I and the rest of the staff collapse into a heap of pure exhaustion, we need to make our fundraising goal and get on with the job of reversing our senselessly destructive foreign policy." I replied "collapse into a heap of pure exhaustion" from writing articles for a website? That's pretty darn funny & very melodramatic. If his site is as influencial as he claims, raimando needs to learn more about the libertarian "market" and generate ad revenue. Even I know how easy that is to do. A successful website doesn't need to beg for donations, they can earn it from ads & the traffic. it's too bad if google pulled his ads for the torture pics, but this is a big world and if he needs to earn a living off his site then he better either remove the pics or find revenue from another ad source, simple as that. he also doesn't have the balls to address the 9/11 false flag or the holohoax, so his site is sort of milktoast anyway as far as im concerned. People who want the whole truth can do fine without it. "Even to the death fight for truth, and the LORD your God will battle for you". Sirach 4:28
I agree. It's also funny how some people only want the truth to a certain point, often if not usually because they're guided not by a desire to know the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, but by a political philosophy instead. The nation is full of them. People for example that fully support Military Industrial Welfare but who chide others for a fraction of that in the traditional welfare system.
