Image: Seattle Police Department By Brittany Levine 1 day ago It may not have been as dramatic as the great llama chase of 2015, but Seattle Police got their own taste of an animal pursuit when 10 goats broke free from their pen, spooking children at a nearby home daycare center Thursday afternoon. It took a lot of hand waving and cajoling to corral the goats and return them to their pen in the south Seattle neighborhood of Beacon Hill. No one was injured, but the pre-K children did get a scare, Seattle Police Det. Patrick Michaud told Mashable. "Honestly, how many times in a career are you going to be called to herd goats?" The entire incident spanned less than half an hour and was considerably less stirring than the Arizona llama chase that gripped the nation in late February. But the police had fun with the whole thing, producing a fake movie poster for The Goat Escape, a riff on the 1963 WWII film starring Steve McQueen. The-goat-escape "We didnt have a live helicopter feed of the goat chase, next time well try I swear," Michaud said, noting, however, that police on the scene did get dashcam video that will eventually be uploaded to the department's YouTube page. Poster Comment: Let's hope those goats didn't eat any TNT beforehand. LOL Post Comment Private Reply Ignore Thread
