Controversial Chocolate Snorting Device Gives You a Legal High

You’re probably not a true chocolate addict unless you’ve actually snorted the stuff. If you didn’t know that was even possible, well it is, thanks to Belgian chocolatier Dominique Persoone. He’s created something called a chocolate shooter – a device that launches small lumps of cocoa powder directly into the nostrils.

While the health effects of inhaling chocolate are pretty much unknown, Persoone’s device is gaining popularity quite rapidly. He first created the snorter for a Rolling Stones party in 2007, inspired by a device that his grandfather used to inhale tobacco snuff. It consists of a tiny catapult with two small, spring-loaded spoons that fling cocoa powder into the nostrils.........

I've been trying to convince the DEA for the last two decades that Digitaria sanguinalis can be exploited as a powerful hallucinogen in lieu of spending yet another $30 a year on lawn chemicals. I'm glad the plan failed, as I did not at first take forfeiture laws into account.

Anyone try chocolate instead of aspirin for headaches or for lack of stamina feeling? Seems to work for me.

Tell us more! Do you mean people are doing lawn chemicals, and this crabgrass is even cheaper? Not that I'm necessarily looking to try it, but I'm intrigued. I certainly don't ever plan to snort anything.

Nothing like that, just trying to scam the DEA into eradicating crabgrass.

Never have, but sounds like good news. No doubt the tabloids have covered that -- every time I see one there's an article inside on new benefits that have been discovered in chocolate, beer or whatever.
