Title: Washington State School District Removes 143 Students Over Vaccine Law

SEATTLE (Reuters) - A Washington state school district pulled 143 students who lacked documentation proving they had received required immunizations from classrooms on Monday, in a first-in-the-state clamp-down triggered by a recent measles epidemic.

The Spokane Public Schools, the state's second-largest district, made the decision after a measles epidemic in which more than 150 people fell ill across the United States, and a whooping cough outbreak in the state's eastern city.

"(The students) stay out of school until they show compliance," district spokesman Kevin Morrison said. He said the district was the first in the state to take such action.

All U.S. states require certain vaccines for students for diseases such as mumps, rubella, tetanus or polio, but school immunization laws grant exemptions to children for medical reasons, including an inhibited immune system.

Almost all states also grant religious exemptions against immunizations, with 20 states also allowing philosophical exemptions, according to the National Conference of State Legislatures.

Parents who want to opt out of school shots on philosophical, religious or medical grounds in Washington state, which saw measles cases in the recent epidemic, though none in Spokane public schools, must file a state-mandated waiver with the district, Morrison said.

About 500 of the district's 30,000 students lack the waivers, down from some 5,000 students flagged in November as having missing or unclear immunization status, Morrison said.

In February, officials started instructing parents that their children needed vaccinations or waivers and held a series of health clinics across the region, though the efforts have been complicated by school transfers and old record-keeping.

"It's a lot of hand-holding, it's labor intensive," Morrison said.

I wonder how many kids were affected by the "measles epidemic" and how many of them had taken the vaccines?

Somehow this information is never brought forth.

I wonder how many kids were affected by the "measles epidemic" and how many of them had taken the vaccines?

From looking over news clips and documented historical evidence, it's almost a certainty that ALL of the afflicted have been 100% vaccinated.

Now if vaccines actually WORKED, why would they be worried if a small percentage of students were not immunized? The REST of the students would be fully protected against those diseases, and there would be no cause to exclude non-vaccinated children from school.

Are those the same news clips and historical evidence that made you incorrectly *think* that the central core of the WTC was the main support...?

The preliminary investigation in to the outbreak showed that 57 people had 0 MMR vaccinations...

Does over HALF of the afflicted children being FULLY vaccinated indicate the vaccine is next to useless, or TOTALLY useless?

From GRAPHICAL EVIDENCE SHOWS VACCINES DIDN'T SAVE US

GRAPHICAL EVIDENCE SHOWS VACCINES DIDN'T SAVE US

The above graphs, based on the official death numbers as recorded in the Official Year Books of the Commonwealth of Australia, are taken from Greg Beattie's excellent book "Vaccination A Parent's Dilemma" and represent the decline in death rates from infectious disease in Australia. They clearly show that vaccines had nothing to do with the decline in death rates. (Note: Graphical evidence on the decline in death rates from infectious disease for USA, England, New Zealand and many other countries shows the exact same scenario as above).

So what were the true reasons for this decline? From his book 'Health and Healing' Dr Andrew Weil best answers it with this statement;

"Scientific medicine has taken credit it does not deserve for some advances in health. Most people believe that victory over the infectious diseases of the last century came with the invention of immunisations. In fact, cholera, typhoid, tetanus, diphtheria and whooping cough, etc, were in decline before vaccines for them became available - the result of better methods of sanitation, sewage disposal, and distribution of food and water."

Ok, so I guessed incorrectly, it wasn't 100% of the afflicted children who were vaccinated, it was OVER HALF of them.

So now answer MY questions.

IF vaccines actually WORKED, why would they be worried if a small percentage of students were not immunized?

Does over HALF of the afflicted children being FULLY vaccinated indicate the vaccine is next to useless, or TOTALLY useless?

Ok, so I guessed incorrectly...

...which fully spikes your premise.

Are all vaccines 100% effective...the answer has always been no.

Are they effective in curbing, diminishing or stopping massive outbreaks and epidemics.

Yes they are.

Small pox, polio, even measles...

I love how measles is always thrown in with small pox, polio, the Plague, Black Death, etc etc.

Why the monumental fear about measles?

Because the USA has Mommy and Daddy both working to pay their outrageous mortgages so there's no one to stay home with Joe and Janey for 10 days while they get over the measles. That's the reason but the talking medical heads at the CDC don't want to get into that "messy" discussion.

It's one of those *scourge* diseases that, while rarely fatal, can be a bit debilitating...all of my siblings had the measles but I never did...I remember getting that shot when I was in first or second grade...

Rubella (German Measles) and Pregnancy - Patient.co.uk
Rubella (German measles) is usually a mild illness. However, if you are pregnant and catch rubella, it can cause serious damage to your unborn child.

the USA has Mommy and Daddy both working to pay their outrageous mortgages so there's no one to stay home with Joe and Janey for 10 days while they get over the measles. That's the reason but the talking medical heads at the CDC don't want to get into that "messy" discussion.

That too. Also, parents here are by "Board of Ed. admin policy" threatened with having to miss work to be hauled into court if their child had been absent prior to those 10 days of illness (for Chicken Pox or whatever) and so exceeded the set limit of "excused" days for their recovery during a grading period. Never mind that going back to school before they're fully recovered from a contagion would not only endanger them but other children in the school. Threatening parents with legal action causes extra office workloads for school personnel and for "law enforcement" personnel in pursuit of such "truancy" charges, which could then reduce the parents' economic output for the "corpostate".
