Screw the free market, capitalist argument people tend to make in response to this comment. Capitalism has long been in the rear view mirror of this country. That said, since illegals receive free medical (and housing, and education, and college tuition) needy Americans should also receive the same. And please don’t tell me the answer is to take these services away from illegals - of course that’s the answer, but it isn’t going to happen. Until it does, every American w/o medical insurance should be offered it on the same level as the illegals. Call it socialism, Hillary-care, whatever. I call it about time.

I live in AZ and I tell you that I have noticed for a long time and others have too that newly arrived mexicans are favored in so many ways. at the doctor's office the employees go out of their way to explain to a dark skinned mexican who doesn't speak good english that the bill will be paid if they can't afford to pay, but for an American the same employee will speak down to them if they can't pay and threaten them it seems.

One mexican guy I know who's been here for many years was unemployed and trying to get aid from the government. He said that the newly arrived illegals got it right away, but he couldn't. lots of people have noticed this for a long time.

in public schools if there's 50% of the children that speak spanish as first language, then they switch the whole school over to spanish and the english speakers are the ones who are out of luck. and that is actually happening.

That's my point. We have countless problems in this mess of a nation, but if we all can't agree that this has to change, IT'S OVER.

it's been my observation that americans take a very racist view of the mexicans. If your skin is brown and you're a recent arrival they have so much sympathy for these people. They want to give them aid, they want to give them charity, they want to give them jobs. But for an american who is downtrodden, it is nothing but contempt for that person. and at the same time americans can't work in Mexico, but mexicans come up here freely and work, and even get government benefits very easily.

We still won't have the network they do, for making sure they get everything they're "entitled" to and whatever else they can get away with.

When dollar heads south, so will the Mexicans; they won't have a choice in the matter.

Their dollars do head South in the amounts of billions per annum. On top of this they are on the verge of breaking our medical system, because it’s free yet they remain here. This while Americans are charged full boat. All these recent pension defaults are, in large part, due to the huge cost of health care. And that is the result of illegals.

Yeah, but I was talking about the coming crash of the dollar. When the dollar is virtually worthless Americans will be as mad as hell and illegal immigrants best not be hanging around in the USA. They will need someone to blame, and the elite would rather it be the Mexicans than them.

I've been reading Pat Buchanan's remarkable book "Death of the West" and he makes many wonderful points about how our society has been indoctrinated over the past few decades by a particular group of socialist thought. THe indoctrination has become so insidious and long term, that people don't even question what they're taught to believe. I think what you're seeing is a phenomena of considering non-whites and non-AMericans as "better" than Americans, as Americans are "evil" people who have done nothing but harm to the world. THis is part of the indoctrination. We're supposed to bend over backwards to treat other races and peoples better than we treat our own as we are so evil and we have to make up for the racism of the past. This is profoundly self-hating philosophy and one that will end up destroying us.
