Six years ago today, I was listening to an Infowars broadcast when I heard fill-in host and Alex Jones protégé Jason Bermas excoriate a caller for daring to mention the word Jew on air. Bermas went on an insane rant, telling the caller "Look man. It's not a Jewish conspiracy OK? Get over it... Give me a break dude, please go hang yourself. There's somebody I wouldn't mind with a little population control. The question is, if you're asking that question, why are you still breathing? I mean why haven't you really just taken a toaster oven and thrown it in the bathtub with yourself and had a party? Because that's what you need to do."
Bermas bizarrely said that anyone who claims that the Jews own the media should hang or electrocute themselves. Now I had been a fan of Bermas work up to that point for Loose Change, and had even met him at a conference and conducted an interview with him. But I thought Bermas' response to the caller was highly inappropriate, so I broke the story, which prompted Bermas and Jones to respond to my article on air the next day, with the original caller calling back in. [Part one of that audio is here], and [part two is here, also embedded below.] It caused quite a stir in the "patriot community", prompting Jeff Rense, Texe Marrs and many others to sharply criticize Bermas, who seemed to disappeared from the scene soon thereafter. We do not make a penny from the radio show. The WRH server, and Bambuser costs several hundred every month. And Claire and I have to live and pay our bills. It is no lie to say that without some serious funding, the radio show and even this website may not be able to continue much longer.
First off, let me say that I contribute monthly to WRH, not much, but what is commensurate with the number of shows I'm able to listen to. I had encouraged Mike, at the time he left RBN, to go independent with a subscription based show and was greatly disappointed when he turned up on the second tier at GCN.
In retrospect, I'm not certain that GCN didn't sign him up on their roster just to bottle him up and keep him from going head-to-head against AJ.
When it is said that not a penny is made from the radio show I find this, quite frankly, difficult to believe. When I listen to the show I hear plenty of ads and I'm certain that the air time for ads is not free. It may be that Mike needs to renegotiate with GCN to get a more equitable share on ad revenue and if this isn't negotiable, perhaps it is time for him to reconsider going independent.

you make several very good points. doing a show , a quality program that im sure has lots of listeners, for a network that is filled with ads, sounds like someones getting screwed if they aren't even making a dime off of it.

Incredible that Infowars should go.... THAT.... Jew, even if Alex comes in and backpedals the tandem bike. He's a super-Jewlover, but even if he weren't I suspect he'd have to act semitically correct in order to keep his high profile.
He and his team have taken a lot of valid criticism over it AND a lot of shocking abuse and hate from racialist pundits of late. It's absolutely sickening -- wish they'd view Police State II again before assaulting a man who's done 50 times more for truth than they have, and in some cases is twice or more their age.
They too are accomplishing much, but can't boast getting right in the face of Janet Reno or the entire Bush clan at public functions like Alex.
