Interesting forum here. I had gotten into a very brief discussion with a friend that floated Ten Boom as a "witness," so I took a few minutes to do some preliminary research and happened upon this forum.

I read it too. IIRC, mostly about her family's experience hiding heebs, her ordeal as an internee etc. Believe she's usually held up by Revisionists (the good kind) as an example of a major "Holocaust" story missing in key "Holocaust" elements, just as there's no mention of the big H in Churchill's 6-volume The Second World War.

It's funny you say that last part, as I continue to research history it seems that the "Holocaust"(C) only began to gain traction well into the '50s and early '60s.

Probably most people forgetting, wanting to forget, and driving on being productive in life while the usual suspects decided to exploit it and water it and grow it into something useful to them.

The fact that they're expeditiously reinforcing it all now shows how the whole thing is founded on the flimsy, really largely unsubstantiated, basis that it is and just as close to collapsing as it is being reinforced.

My 11th grade English class read The Hiding Place and Anne Frank's diary at the same time...circa 1974...

I thought that both were pretty disturbing at the time...I've since re-read Anne Frank's diary and found it to be a bit more philosophical than disturbing...I had forgotten all about Corrie's book until this thread. I might pick it up again...
