Staff infection?
I had one in my leg. I probably caught it in the hospital. Since those types of infections are in the air, you do not have to come into contact with someone who has it. They said it was MRSA, Methycillin Resistant Staphlococcus Aureus. I was going to the wound treatment clinic in Joplin for over a year, and the doctor there said the problem was with my veins, so they gave me an ablation, which is where they put a catheter into your leg veins, and apply hear to make the veins collapse. They said the problem was that the valves in my legs were not working properly. Anyway, they are finished now, and my legs are healed up. I'm still a little weak, but am getting stronger slowly. What you had in your leg was staph infection unless the hospital staff somehow got into your wound :-) I did read somewhere that the 4th greatest cause of death in the US was medical mistakes.
Well, the doctor seems to have done everything right in Joplin. They gave me veinous ablations in both legs, and now the wounds are healed. It only took a year for them to complete everything. I'm sure glad they are finished. Now, I need to get my strength back.
