Yes and I miss Sam Francis. Miss his august presence on the scene so much. Remember when he first (?) came on the scene in the late 80s. Chronicles had a lot of outstanding writers (plus hateful token Jew Jacob Neusner), but Francis' writing had this incredible weightiness and natural pre-1960s class that made him head and shoulders above the rest. Couldn't believe it when he died so soon. It wasn't said to be suspicious. He was so hefty he was a candidate for it, alas. Still, I'll believe it when I believe it. Baltimore is minority managed and minority occupied. The (useless) police department is majority minority and behaved as ordered. What you saw last night was an example of the inability of blacks trying to govern a city. The same can be said of nations where the same circumstances exist.
