(CNSNews.com) - President Barack Obama said at a fundraiser in Portland, Ore., yesterday that young foreign nationals who are in the United States illegally but on whose behalf he has decided not to enforce the immigration law are “Americans just like our kids, except they don’t have the right documents.” “We still got to make sure we get comprehensive immigration reform passed in this country,” Obama said. “ I couldn’t be prouder of the work that we’ve done through executive actions to make sure that our young DREAMers--young people who were brought here as children and are Americans just like our kids, except they don’t have the right documents--the notion that we would be keeping them in the shadows made no sense. “But we’ve got to solve that larger problem, and only Congress can do that,” Obama said. “And you’ve got some great members of Congress who understand that. Now, we’ve got to get all members of Congress to understand that--and we’ve got to get that thing passed. It’s the right thing to do. It’s good for our economy--and it upholds our tradition as a nation of laws and a nation of immigrants.” Poster Comment: "it upholds our tradition as a nation of laws and a nation of immigrants.” Wow, just wow!

I feel the same way as you. Every time I think he's reached the bottom of the pit of anti-American madness, he opens his crazed mouth and spouts more insanity. How can he say we're a nation of laws and then he describes illegals flaunting our immigration laws as simply being a case of not having the right papers? I wonder if he's devolving into serious mental illness. He's sounding more like a loon every time he opens his beak in public lately. Is Obama coming undone? Jarrett and Michie must be worried he won't keep it together until January, 2017.

That's absolutely right, and it's got to be pounded into the sheeple's heads somehow. If you're of largely white European stock, THAT MAKES YOU A REAL NATIVE AMERICAN -- not the redskins. Ask any of their tribal leaders how American they feel. Actually, America was started by non-immigrant Patriots who were born here.

There's got to be a better way than that to convince them we're not a "nation of immigrants" ... that we're a nation of Americans whose societal culture is allegiance to our Constitution. I'll give it some more thought when I'm not this saddened from that droning malarkey-meme. It just sounds soooo like ... robotically de-Superpowered ... as if we're being programmed to think of America no differently at all than every other country in the world with lawful immigration histories (excepting, of course, you-know-who over in the Middle East that's far more exclusive). Well now, that there's an energizing thought. If they don't mind us Patriots of European heritage identifiying our Founders and selves as authentic Native Americans, nobody else should object. : ] Begone from us, "nation of immigrants" mantra-marketers!
