Taya Kyle, the widow of Navy SEAL Chris Kyle, recently made a presidential endorsement, but here’s the thing. He’s not in the race.

Kyle endorsed former Texas Governor Rick Perry, who’s expected to make his official campaign announcement next week.
“I’ve had an up-close view of their humility and commitment to doing the right thing for people regardless of who gets the credit,” Kyle said.
“Believe me, they are a breath of fresh air in a political system full of people playing games and twisting the truth,” she added.
Perry’s expected to make his big announcement on Thursday in Addison, Texas. Kyle will be there offering her support. She said she’ll “proudly stand with one of the great leaders this state and country have ever produced: Rick Perry.”
