Busy Gun-Grabbing Calendar For Loretta Lynch – Disarming Citizens While Empowering Thugs Posted on June 1, 2015 by Rick Wells in Constitution, DOJ, Eric Holder, Second Amendment, Tyranny The regime claims they’re acting in the interest of gun safety, which from their perspective involves removing the threat an armed citizenry poses to the tyrants who are systematically assaulting them. The vehemently anti-Second Amendment Eric Holder chose his successor carefully. More than a dozen new anti-gun regulations are set to be rolled out this year under Attorney General Loretta Lynch targeting legal firearms and their ownership. The pretenses for the new regulations are based largely upon restricting the pool of individuals who retain the constitutional right to firearm ownership in addition to the type of weapons and ammo available for purchase. Atop the target list are high-powered pistols. Broadening the criteria for individual suspensions of the Second Amendment will focus on those the regime determines to be too mentally unstable and those convicted of misdemeanor domestic abuse. We will undoubtedly also see an intensified advocacy for victims of domestic abuse and a corresponding crackdown to increase the number of convictions or plea bargains. Veterans are already being determined to be mentally unstable at record rates, often without being able to challenge their accusers or the benefit of a trial. Even the simple fact that they sought treatment is enough to have them permanently labeled as mentally unstable. Two years ago, in February of 2013, the New American reported that “Veterans around the country are receiving letters from the federal government informing them that because of alleged physical or mental disability, their financial decisions will be made by a government-appointed ‘fiduciary’ and they will be forbidden from “purchasing, possessing, receiving or transporting a firearm or ammunition.” They stressed that this was not simply a “warning of something that might happen; these letters are being sent out every day by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) as part of its Fiduciary Program.” They are based upon the Brady Handgun Violence Prevention Act and carry warnings of potential fines or imprisonment. In determining whether a veteran who fought for this nation would be able to retain his constitutional rights, the guilty until proven innocent posture is adopted, with assessments based upon: We all know that people with bad credit regularly shoot up shopping malls. There is also no disputing the credibility of the representatives at the VA, notoriously the sources of falsified waiting lists and rampant abuses of patients. They might be dishonest when it comes to covering up their own criminal negligence in patient care, but VA reps can be trusted with something as insignificant as one’s constitutional rights as a citizen. They’re objective public servants who place the possible, infinitely miniscule, potential for an attack and risk to a non-veteran life above all else. There are indications that veterans are also behind the failure of the planet to warm as predicted as well. Luke O’Dell, president of the National Association for Gun Rights, said, “It’s clear President Obama is beginning his final assault on our Second Amendment rights by forcing his anti-gun agenda on honest, law-abiding citizens through executive force.” The Hill reported that the DOJ’s “Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is looking to revive a rule proposed way back in 1998 that would block domestic abusers from owning guns. As proposed, the regulation makes it illegal for some who has been convicted of a misdemeanor domestic violence offense to own a gun.” That assault on the gun rights of individual citizens is expected in November. Michael Hammond, an attorney for Gun Owners of America said, “That could be a person who spanked his kid, or yelled at his wife, or slapped her husband.” In the Hill Article, “Everytown for Gun Safety,” a Michael Bloomberg gun-grabbing group, was quoted as saying, “American women are 11 times more likely to be shot and killed than women in other developed countries. The high rate of domestic violence deaths in America is directly related to our weak gun laws. But we know that smart gun laws can—and do—stop domestic abuse from turning into murder.” They’re so smart; the rest of us have “stupid laws.” In other developed countries many of those women are strangled, beaten to death or stabbed. They’re still dead, but the guns can’t be blamed. In less developed nations those same women might be stoned or burned alive in accordance with Islamic Law. No word was forthcoming as to whether those nations plan to outlaw rocks or fire. Hammond argued, “The Obama administration is trying very hard to disqualify people from owning a gun on the basis that they are seeing a psychologist.” The NRA defended the gun owners who find themselves targets of the DC tyrants in a statement which read, “A person who experienced a temporary reaction to a traumatic event or who has trouble handling household finances may well be treated the same as a violent psychopath. Not only is this unjust and stigmatizing, it creates disincentives for those who need mental health treatment to seek it, increasing whatever risks are associated with untreated mental illness.” Other methods of attack which are likely include requiring gun dealers to report thefts, provide gun storage and safety devices and placing restrictions on high-powered pistols. “The Obama administration hates the Second Amendment, and it’s clear that every place where it can push, it will,” Hammond said. “This is an indication of an anti-gun administration trying to annoy us in any way it can.” Harassment and infringement are more than just an annoyance, they’re unconstitutional threats.
