If I lived in California I would do it anyway. My life/property is worth more to me than is obeying a law meant solely to disarm me in the face of criminal activity. Really, with all the BS allowed to go unpunished, from crooked Wall Street traders/banksters to illegal invaders running around freely, I'm not worried about obeying any laws that hinder my life.
