But they're not even alone... Your hot peppers, bell peppers, potatoes, eggplant and even the superfruit GOJI BERRIES may be silently wreaking havoc inside your body. What the heck? You see, these foods are all part of a plant family called "nightshades". These nightshades contain natural toxins -- known as alkaloids -- that can trigger serious inflammation and pain for about 33% of people. I'm sure you've heard that before... "one man's meat is another man's poison". Well, it's 100% accurate (if not 200%!). That's why I always tell everyone that wants to be as healthy as possible, reduce inflammation and lose weight. To improve your health dramatically start with an elimination diet. Heres how it works. First, you remove certain foods that are known to be big inflammation triggers from your diet for a couple of weeks. Second, you monitor how you feel and if your health is improving. Third, you re-introduce one food at a time every couple of days and see what happens. Allergy testing is good, but often leads to false assumptions. An elimination diet is the ONLY surefire way to know how your body responds to food, and figure out what works best for YOUR body, where it's at TODAY. Going gluten-free and dairy-free will only get you so far. If you really want results, I highly recommend that you follow a proper elimination diet plan for at least a couple of weeks every single year. My book "Diet Wise" is the best resource you will find on this subject. It's the perfect blueprint on what to remove on your elimination diet, how to re-introduce foods safely, and how to put an end to health issues or slow fat loss.
