Red Sea Pedestrians -- is that the name of a singing group attempting to counteract the Liberated Wailing Wall? :-) Thanks and kudos to Neo for the above tally. Numbers from long ago like "six million" mean something to people, a current figure like 1.455,590 absolutely nothing. They don't even care about the 6,850 dead amerikans! No, all they want are simple pre-packaged block concepts in primary colors like "any war is good if it's amerikan -- all other factors, including the number of our casualties, are less than nothing." How many "news" stories, "analyses", commentaries, charts, live feeds, interviews, speeches and ceremonies do the mass media feature without ever saying "THIS IS TOO DAMN MUCH! WE HAVE LOST 7000 YOUNG AMERICANS IN THIS S***!!!" Oh how they love to bring updates as to troop movement, the Sunni and the Shia of it, what Kissinger says, what Israel says, what Obozo says, blah blah YAK YAK YAK going around in circles that never end anywhere and conveniently hide the horrible reality of it all!!!!!!!
