Caught On Tape: Cop Pulls Gun On 2 Kids, Unleashes Profanity-Laden Tirade In Affluent Suburb

Submitted by Simon Black via SovereignMan.com,

I’ll be up front with you and say that this video is disturbing.

It’s like a bucket of ice-cold water thrown in the face of the dream world that most people are walking through.

Watching riots on TV in places like Baltimore and Ferguson, it’s easy to think, “That couldn’t happen here. All that police violence only happens in poor communities.”

Guess again.

This weekend it was the safe, quiet suburb of McKinney, Texas, about 30 minutes outside of Dallas.

McKinney is no gang-infested slum; it’s an affluent bedroom community with an average household income over $96,000 according to Colliers International.

(Having grown up just a few miles away, I would add that it’s pretty sterile too, full of big-box retailers, megaplex cinemas, and chain restaurants.)

Over the weekend some local kids were having a summer pool party to celebrate a friend’s birthday.

With that many adolescents crammed together in one place, there was undoubtedly some silly teenage drama going on. And police were called to the scene.

One of them starts off almost immediately screaming profanity-laden tirades at the kids, many as young as 14.

This courageous officer’s advice to young people included such gems as “Sit your asses down,” and “Don’t make me fuckin’ run around with 30 pounds of goddamn gear on. . .”

At one point throws a girl to the ground who had apparently failed to ‘get her ass out of here’ with appropriate alacrity.

You can see him grab her neck and attempt to shove her face into the pavement.

The kids all start screaming. Two of them rush over to try and help their classmate, at which point Captain America pulls his gun out and advances menacingly towards them.

They bolt. So he turns his attention back to the girl, grabs her head once again, and screams “ON YOUR FACE!!!” as he pins her down on the ground and puts her in handcuffs.

It’s really disturbing to watch.

Had it been a parent trying to grind his kid’s face into the pavement, Child Protective Services would have immediately removed the girl from the home and the father would be rotting in jail this very moment.

But when a police officer does it, he goes on ‘leave’. And only when he’s unlucky enough to be caught on camera.

If some random stranger grabbed your child and started attacking her, you’d instantly turn into Bruce Lee and put the guy in a Kung-Fu death grip.

But when a police officer attacks your child, the government expects you to just stand around and watch.

That’s one of the most disturbing things from the video.

You’ll see there are a bunch of adults in the video milling around with their hands in their pockets while the kids get abused.

I appreciate they’re doing whatever they feel like they can do to make the best of a bad situation.

But they’ve been indoctrinated for so long that their reaction is to be obedient and submissive. They don’t interfere with ‘the law’. They know their place and they act like it.

The kids, on the other hand, are all still young enough that they haven’t totally subordinated themselves to the state. There’s still a part of them that’s free.

So when the cops get totally out of control, their instinct is to fight back.

That is, after all, our natural instinct– to be free.

We have to -learn- to be intimidated and subservient to the state. We have to learn to stand around with our hands in our pockets while our children are abused. And that learning takes place in none other than the public school system.

I checked the McKinney Independent School District’s website and found that these kids all recite the Pledge of Allegiance in the morning, including that part about “liberty and justice for all.”

They sing songs gushing about freedom in America. But they just got a taste of how free they really are.

Hopefully that lesson stays with them. It’s certainly more powerful that an entire semester of the mandatory civics class they have to take.

After watching the video I actually downloaded a copy of the staple civics textbook Magruder’s American Government, and found a rather prescient passage in the first chapter:

“This nation was founded by those who loved liberty and prized it above all earthly possessions.”

True statement. But that instinctive flame to be free has gone out for so many people, not only in America but across the world.

And no nation can rise again until that flame is rekindled.

The textbook continues:

“To preserve and protect [their rights and liberty], each generation must learn and understand them anew, and be willing to stand up for them when necessary.”

Perhaps that time is finally coming.

A show of hands:

Who thinks that these cops are:

A: Mentally balanced
or
B: Have broken brains and are mentally diseased

Running is now a crime. Must suck to be so paranoid.

It's easy to see however why their jobs are so difficult. Without the heroic intervention of these guys the kids would have been left to simply have a good time in the heat. Thank god for these guys keeping us all safe. I would have been terrified driving through that neighborhood and all of those kids in swimsuits. It's clear that they could have had all kinds of weapons stuffed into their trunks & bikinis.

I can't believe that these heroes in blue actually risked their lives to protect the community! That girl in the bikini weighing have of that full-grown man was clearly a threat to him, it's obvious. Again, what a dangerous job. I hope that I never have to start a fight with a girl half mysize in a bikini with no shoes while I'm wearing gear designed to mix it up. I'd be terrified. It clearly makes him feel like a big man. Must be that his homelife ain't goin' so well. How'd you like to be that asshole's wife.

Sounds like what threw them into psychotic rage was the fact that there was an altercation between a woman and a girl. Everyone else was "guilty" by association even though a fight isn't necessarily a crime. Talk about overreaction.

One of these days a few of them are going to be unrecognizeable after a crowd finally has had enough. I have to say my pity will be nonexistent on that day. Perhaps that'll teach these psychos to behave like civil human beings. I doubt it, but one can hope.

In the meantime, guilty until proven innocent continues to rule the land, and proving oneself innocent costs money, sometimes much money, especially when these psychos make up evidence against them.

The cops were attempting to put down another black riot. The neighborhood was invaded by a black flash-mob. The news media are, again, fueling the black undertow by deliberately lying and representing the 'black yoots' as innocent waifs-of-the-summer enjoying ice cream and having robust discussions of philosophy and religions around the pool.

The niggers came back to that neighborhood at night and stole a truck and crashed it into other vehicles, attempted to kick in front doors, vandalized everything that could be damaged.......but don't look for ANY television or newspaper outlet in DFW report the whole story.

From a local forum in DFW:

Maybe those "urban youths" should consider the following:

1. Don't show up to a TPC golf course community where you aren't invited to and have no business being at in the first place.

2. Don't scale fences, hide in bushes, advertise on FB and twitter etc.

3. Don't try to reenact the freaknik at the country club pool.

4. Don't harass the residents who pay quite a bit of money to live in a nice PRIVATE community.

5. When the cops come, usually things like yes sir, no sir go a long way. Trying to run, disobeying instructions, yelling 'I dindu nuffin', and swarming a cop while he is detaining your home girl are all not helpful. You are not going to win an argument. If you have a gripe, by all means, film the interaction and take it up in court.

6. After you have been thrown out of a neighborhood you don't belong in, don't come back later to vandalize vehicles and houses because you feel 'disrespecked'.

"Facebook friends and family – PLEASE HELP! That (now viral) video of the officer in McKinney subduing a girl in a bathing suit was in OUR neighborhood. The situation was NOT what is being reported…

A DJ setup in a public space next to the private pool in our neighborhood on Friday and played loud explicit (F-bomb) music for multiple hours (it is unclear if he was invited by a resident as no one has claimed responsibility). The teenagers (both black and white) were being brought into our neighborhood by the carload because the DJ was tweeting out invites to a “pool party” for $15 (obviously unauthorized by our neighborhood). The teens began fighting with each other and pushing their way into our private pool. Some were jumping our fence. The security guard was accosted when he tried to stop the beginnings of this mob scene. Some residents who live around the park/pool area tried to come out and settle things down. The teens started yelling racial slurs at our neighbors and started assaulting people and property (throwing bottles at cars and attacking a mother at the pool with 3 young children). The first officer on the scene was by himself. At that time, the party had grown to a large, aggressive crowd. As the officer arrived, many teens started running through our neighborhood. Many of the teens were being very aggressive and yelling at the officers as more arrived.

This was a very dangerous situation for the officers AND the teens/residents not involved. The news media has refused to hear the neighborhood’s side of this story. The video being distributed is only a very small segment of what happened. This information being distributed by the media and others is extremely distorted and in some cases outright lies.

PLEASE HELP US STOP THE BROADCASTING OF THIS IGNORANCE. The media is trying to make it look like our neighborhood is a white’s only, racist area. Anyone who has spent even a few minutes in our area knows this is an outright LIE.

The unfortunate result is that our neighbors are now being threatened. We have also had cars and property in and around the park area vandalized this weekend. Unfortunately, the press and social media are trying to enflame the situation.

I am asking for your help for my family and my neighbor’s safety…PLEASE, PLEASE do not rebroadcast any of these lies."

quote:

One resident, Benet Embry, a black man, posted on Facebook about the events leading up to the police call. “Look, I LIVE in this community and this ENTIRE incident is NOT racial at all,” Embry wrote. “A few THUGS spoiled a COMMUNITY event by fighting, jumping over fences into a PRIVATE pool, harassing and damaging property. Not EVERYTHING is about RACE. WE have other issues that NEED our attention other flights of made up make believe causes.”

In another post he is critical of media coverage of the incident. “I’ve never seen such irresponsible reporting and miss management of media resources in my life,” he said.

quote: Bryan Gestner, posted on Facebook, “This was a Twitter party that turned into a mob event. Jumping pool fence. Assaulting 2 security guards, attacking a mother with three little girls. The video doesn’t show everything.” He continued saying the kids were drinking and “smoking weed” and they would not listen to any of the adults around the pool.

“This isn’t about race,” he continued. “This is about outside kids invading our neighborhood and had no respect for authority or the residents here. I have a target on my back now and I have been threatened by these punks that they are gonna shoot up my house when all I did was try to control the mob and actually tended to the girl and the boy that had a bloody lip.”

“Yall don’t know the whole story,” Gestner continued. “I commend the officer for handling this situation.”

Gestner wrapped up his post alleging that these same kids came back into the neighborhood Saturday night. They were “kicking in people’s front door, stole a truck and crashed it into many vehicles. They vandalized dozens of cars and were stealing things.”

When feral blacks encounter civilized people chaos is always the end result. BTW, if white people are so racist & evil why do they invade our swimming pools?

We're there.

AM radio reported this morning that the pool-party was hosted by a black family that lived in the community.

Sounds like the DJ was the prime cause of nogs crashing a community event. Whatever, the one cop was over the top, imo.

I have to agree, sadly.

If cops stand down to mob violence then that puts the onus on The People to resort directly to firearms to maintain order. I don't want that to happen, not at all. I sincerely want everybody to behave and leave other people's property alone.

I've got my share of grievances with the actions and misdeeds of some cops, but they are a 'thin blue line' between Evil and the wrath of a pissed-off citizenry.

Our society is so morally fucked up!

morally and mentally

------------------------------------------

History repeats - with vengeance. Man is ignorant to his own ways, refuses to take counsel, rejects ancient wisdoms, and repeats the sins of fallen generations and civilizations.

I often think about Socrates being forced to drink hemlock for speaking out against the state corruption, and the corrupted youth of his day.

The Suicide of Socrates, 399 BC

On a day in 399 BC the philosopher Socrates stood before a jury of 500 of his fellow Athenians accused of "refusing to recognize the gods recognized by the state" and of "corrupting the youth." If found guilty; his penalty could be death. The trial took place in the heart of the city, the jurors seated on wooden benches surrounded by a crowd of spectators. Socrates' accusers (three Athenian citizens) were allotted three hours to present their case, after which, the philosopher would have three hours to defend himself.

Socrates

Socrates was 70 years old and familiar to most Athenians. His anti-democratic views had turned many in the city against him. Two of his students, Alcibiades and Critias, had twice briefly overthrown the democratic government of the city, instituting a reign of terror in which thousands of citizens were deprived of their property and either banished from the city or executed.

After hearing the arguments of both Socrates and his accusers, the jury was asked to vote on his guilt. Under Athenian law the jurors did not deliberate the point. Instead, each juror registered his judgment by placing a small disk into an urn marked either "guilty" or "not guilty." Socrates was found guilty by a vote of 280 to 220.

We are coming quickly to a 'Socrates' choice in this country if you speak out against homosexual perversion, the corruptness of this government and law enforcement, and a youth who now has absolute free reign and is devoid of even the meanings of morality and integrity, you may soon PAY WITH YOUR LIFE!

As I've said, MOST LE are mentally SANE and decent folks. But that is changing quickly.

The sane and decent folks are beginning to throw up their hands and walk away from a professions that is CRITICAL to keeping our society from diving into the abyss of anarchy.

Bribes on both sides.

"Just pull over here and get into my squad car ma'am and we can 'take care' of this ticket."

"Man, I'll give you half of this meth if you don't bust me. It's worth about $40,000. Nobody will ever know."

What happens when you take a punk and put him in a L.E. uniform? Bad, bad shit.

35 will soon enough be built-out to OK.

Here comes the other shoe dropping:

Cornell William Brooks, NAACP president and CEO, released the following statement on the incident:

“I am deeply disturbed by the McKinney Police Department’s treatment of these African American teenagers. The excessive force on an unarmed 14-year-old girl clad only in a bikini by an officer wearing a uniform and a gun, was particularly troubling.

"These teens appeared to be simply attending a pool party and deserved respectful treatment under the law. We are calling for a full investigation of the McKinney Police Department officers and that they be held accountable to the full extent of the law. We also join the community in wrapping our arms around these young people as they heal from the physical and mental scars this incident may have caused.”

Obombo should declare Texas a separate country

That would leave Tejas free to deal with the border as the state see's fit, without FedGov oversight or interference. Mexico would end up with a shooting war on the border in short order, possibly.

Evidently this has hit a very raw nerve with White people in McKinney: they're pushing back hard against WFAA/KDFW/Dallas Morning news. The DFW news media thought that White people would roll over on this but it's blowing up in their collective faces and they are confused.

It's the McKinney Courier-Gazette, a small local rag. Here's the whole article:

starlocalmedia.com/mcki nneycouriergazette/

At around 7:15 p.m. June 5, police responded to a disturbance at the Craig Ranch North Community Pool. The initial call came in as a disturbance involving multiple juveniles at the location who do not live in the area or have permission to be there, and who were refusing to leave.

Police received several additional calls related to the incident advising that juveniles were fighting, according to police.

Upon arrival, officers encountered a large crowd that police say refused to comply with their commands. Nine additional officers responded to the scene, and police were eventually able to gain control of the situation, said Officer Sabrina Boston, McKinney PD spokeswoman.

But not before at least one officer, Cpl. Eric Casebolt, was clearly angered. A teenager at the scene recorded a video that shows Casebolt expressing his ire with profanity, mad that the teens were making him run around "in the sun because you want to screw around."

What really caught viewers' attention, though, was Casebolt using force to get a girl to the ground. Casebolt is shown throwing around the girl, 15-year-old Dajerria Becton, and pushing her face into the ground. He shoves others who come near, and when two men surround him on the other side, seemingly to come to the girl’s aid, Casebolt pulls out his gun and points it at them.

“This video has raised concerns that are being investigated by the McKinney Police Department,” Boston said in a news release. “At this time, one of the responding officers [Casebolt] has been placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of this investigation.”

The video went viral, with local and national news outlets picking it up. Over 4.3 million people had viewed it on YouTube by Monday morning.

McKinney Mayor Brian Loughmiller said in a released statement that he was “disturbed and concerned” by the video and that he and the City Council expect the police department to “act professionally and with appropriate restraint relative to the situation they are faced with.”

After the incident went viral, many took to social media to vent their frustrations, either with the police officers’ actions or with the negative attention the case was getting.

Michael Cory Quattrin, who says he lives in the Craig Ranch neighborhood where the party was held, said in a Facebook post that a DJ had set up at the pool and blasted explicit music, then invited others to the pool party via Twitter for $15.

“The teens began fighting with each other and pushing their way into our private pool. Some were jumping our fence,” the post reads. “The security guard was accosted when he tried to stop the beginnings of this mob scene.”

Quattrin went on to say that the video is “only a very small segment of what happened” and that reports are painting the neighborhood as a “whites only, racist area.”

“Anyone who has spent even a few minutes in our area knows this is an outright lie,” he stated.

Other videos have surfaced showing at least one fight between two girls outside the pool, with neighbors breaking it up, before police arrived.

Benet Embry, who's black, posted on his Facebook account: "Look, I LIVE in this community and this ENTIRE incident is NOT racial at all. A few THUGS spoiled a COMMUNITY event by fighting, jumping over fences into a PRIVATE pool, harassing and damaging property. Not EVERYTHING is about RACE. WE have other issues that NEED our attention other flights of made up make believe causes."

Yet, plenty think Casebolt handled the situation with unwarranted force and intimidation. One person even posted Casebolt’s address online as an urge for retaliation against the officer.

Many are calling for the immediate firing of Casebolt and his permanent removal from the police department. R.G. Osborne told the McKinney Courier-Gazette there are plenty who are "prepared to demonstrate in solidarity for the rights of the children who were abused and humiliated by Officer Eric Casebolt."

"Racism cannot be tolerated anywhere, but most especially it cannot be tolerated when practiced by the very people whose sworn (and, I might add, taxpayer paid) duty is to protect the safety of all citizens, not just those whose color they find personally acceptable," Osborne wrote in an email.

McKinney Police Chief Greg Conley, who just recently took over as head of the department, said Sunday that an internal affairs investigation is being conducted.

State and national NAACP leadership plans to meet with Conley on Monday and “demand a thorough investigation led by an independent police agency,” according to a release.

Civil rights activists, local pastors and family members spoke out against what they deem racist and unprofessional behavior by McKinney Police Cpl. Eric Casebolt, whose seemingly excessive force while responding to a Friday pool party went viral over the weekend.

As state and national NAACP leaders met with Police Chief Greg Conley inside the McKinney Public Safety building, a press conference was held right outside its doors Monday afternoon. Those who spoke called for the immediate firing of Casebolt, who’s been placed on administrative leave pending an internal affairs investigation into Friday’s incident.

Jahi Adissa Bakari, father to a teenage girl struck by Casebolt as he was trying to hold down teen Dajerria Becton, the focus of the incident, said he was disappointed that McKinney PD didn’t have any female or black officers respond to the party. Though he “saw [officers] doing the right thing,” he said Casebolt “was out of control” and should be drug tested, then fired.

“He pulled the gun out on teenagers,” he said. “I thought it was over at that point.”

Another parent, Maurice Gray, whose wife and five children were at the party, said there was no sex or weed there as has been reported, according to his wife. “I really was afraid of what I saw on the video,” he said.

David Lee, a Christian author, spoke most passionately in front of media. “Appalling” and “unacceptable” were how he described Casebolt’s actions, largely because they were directed at and in the presence of children, he said.

“We have a rogue officer on our hands,” said Lee, a former McKinney resident. “He has to go.”

But others urged people to allow due process and a full investigation before making swift judgments. Derrick Golden, pastor at Amazing Church, said, “McKinney is on watch … we believe we’re going to get the right, righteous resolve.” Bruce Miller, Christ Fellowship pastor and the lone white speaker at the press conference, said pastors have been praying and communicating – “standing together against racism … calling out city to justice, to peace and to love.”

Activists are calling for all charges against teens at the party to be dropped, and for Casebolt and any other officer who “assaulted these minors” to be fired and criminally charged.

Texas Pool Party Update: Teens And Residents Speak Out

June 08, 2015 2:01 PM ET

Days after a dramatic video surfaced of a Texas police officer pulling a gun and screaming at young people at a community pool, the teenage girl he forced to the ground has spoken out. So have local residents who back the police.

The officer who briefly pulled a gun and then held the teenager on the ground — at one point by kneeling on her back — has been identified as Cpl. Eric Casebolt. He has been put on leave, but the video record of him shouting profanities and ordering swimsuit-clad youths to get on the ground has renewed a broader conversation over the proper use of police force and the dynamics of race in America.

The teenage girl who was pushed to the ground and briefly detained is black; Casebolt is white. Many critics of the police action at the Craig Ranch North Community Pool say that black teens at the outdoor party were targeted.

"Everything could've been solved way better than what it was," says Tatiana Rhodes, 19, who tells local TV news WFAA that she organized the party along with her mother and sister. "I mean, there were other officers that were actually nice to people."

Rhodes and her sister, 15, say that they can't stop thinking about the incident; her sister calls it "horrific."

ADVISORY: This video contains profanity and violence.

McKinney's police department says it took at least 10 units to calm the scene at the Craig Ranch North Community Pool, and that the first officers arrived around 7:15 p.m. local time Friday. They were answering residents' concerns about "multiple juveniles at the location, who do not live in the area or have permission to be there, refusing to leave," the department said Sunday.

The teenager, whose age was initially reported as 14 and has since been listed as 15, spoke to local Fox 4 News, saying of the officer who grabbed her, "He told me to keep walking, and I kept walking. And then, I'm guessing he thought we were saying rude stuff to him."

She described how her arm had been twisted around her back, how her hair had been pulled and how her back hurt. She added, "Him getting fired is not enough."

But some homeowners who live near the pool have backed the police in the matter. Fox 4 reports that someone put up a sign at the pool Sunday thanking the officers for their work. The station also spoke to a woman who didn't want to be identified on camera.

"They were just doing the right thing when these kids were fleeing and using profanity and threatening security guards," the white resident says of the police.

On Sunday, McKinney Police Chief Greg Conley said:

"A formal investigation into the incident has been started, and the officer involved has been placed on administrative leave, pending the outcome of the investigation.

"The McKinney Police Department is committed to treating all persons fairly under the law. We are committed to preserving the peace and safety of our community for all of our citizens."

At a news conference Sunday, Conley refused to discuss what one questioner called a history of racial tension in McKinney.

This background about the town comes from the Dallas Morning News:

"McKinney attracted national attention in 2004 after the Police Department's tactics were called into question by the U.S. Department of Justice. Racial tensions between police and residents in an east-side neighborhood escalated following four execution-style slayings earlier in the year.

"About 75 percent of McKinney residents are white, and about 10 percent are black, according to 2010 census data."

Local radio show host Benét Embry, who is black and lives in McKinney, tells the Morning News that the community "is not a racist neighborhood" and that it's "unfortunate that an event like this brings the spotlight."

Embry also says that police who responded to calls of a disturbance at the pool did their best to restore order — and that a small number of kids were "acting the fool."

Another view comes from Michael Corey Quattrin, who wrote a post on Facebook that has been shared tens of thousands of times since it was posted Sunday night. Quattrin, who says he lives in the neighborhood, believes the incident is being misrepresented.

Quattrin says that both black and white teenagers from outside the neighborhood were drawn to the party by tweets, and that led to a scene that prompted residents to call police.

"The teens began fighting with each other and pushing their way into our private pool," he says. "Some were jumping our fence. The security guard was accosted when he tried to stop the beginnings of this mob scene."

The McKinney Police Department has been slow to provide details about Casebolt, and a LinkedIn profile in his name has been deleted. According to the Morning News, before it was removed, Casebolt's profile described him as a Navy veteran and former highway patrolman who joined the McKinney police force in the summer of 2005.

Yeah, that's right, and if you do then risk the psychotic behavior of Cops-Out-Of-Control!

Right!

And by all means, let's start making all kinds of excuses to allow this behavior ...., rather continued behavior, by cops all around the country.

BRILLIANT!

Think things through please!

And quite frankly life won't really be worth living then.

If it gets to a point where people are not free to choose their own peaceful morality, forced to believe lies, at least overtly, and have to act against their own liberty, if that's not a time to either take action or stand down permanently, I have no idea when that would be.

It is a rule of nature as solid as an apple falling from a tree.

Man always corrupts his own best inventions, and the USA is just a pimple on the butt of history.

The social organizers haven't thought this through if they think that they're going to lay a Baltimore or Ferguson on Texas. Those people are paying a lot of money for their homes in Craig Ranch. What does mortgage/homeowner insurance say about civil disturbance/civil unrest? Not covered/denied/too bad. That puts the cops in a tough spot: if they're told to hang back, like happened in Ferguson/Baltimore, I guarantee you that Texans will say "Step aside" and take care of business in short order. They won't allow the George Soros sponsored Black Summer Olympics to leave their homes in smoldering ruins. No sir. And that would be wrong to put the citizens in the position of having to defend their homes/businesses while cops just look on.

First of all, yeah right. I think that's just Texas pride talking and as is almost always the case, the words are much bigger than the actions when TSHTF.

Secondly, I think you're comparing apples to oranges here. I realize that any time you see a black person it spells trouble for you, but these kids didn't seem to be problematic besides perhaps only minor stuff.

In no way was the cops' reaction warranted.

And oh yeah, I noticed that all the "good cops" on duty there too didn't seem to give much of a shit either.

You'd willingly allow a black mob to torch your home/car while the cops look on? I think not.

Texas has a target on it because:

1. It was a part of the Confederacy. That grudge will never go away.

2. Texas never experience the diversity of a good, wholesome black riot back in the 1960's. That chaps "their" hide to this day.

'STAND YOUR GROUND' applies to your house, and even your SWIMMING POOL. Texas just happens to be a 'STAND YOUR GROUND' state.

=======================================

Most states have long allowed the use of reasonable force, sometimes including deadly force, to protect oneself inside one's home—the so-called Castle Doctrine. Outside the home, people generally still have a "duty to retreat" from an attacker, if possible, to avoid confrontation. In other words, if you can get away and you shoot anyway, you can be prosecuted. In Florida, there is no duty to retreat. You can "stand your ground" outside your home, too.

Florida is not alone. Twenty-three other states now allow people to stand their ground. Most of these laws were passed after Florida's. (A few states never had a duty to retreat to begin with.)

Here's a rundown of the states with laws mirroring the one in Florida, where there's no duty to retreat in public places and where, in most cases, self-defense claims have some degree of immunity in court. (The specifics of what kind of immunity, and when the burden of proof lies on the prosecution, vary from state to state.)

Many of the laws were originally advocated as a way to address domestic abuse cases 2014 how could a battered wife retreat if she was attacked in her own home? Such legislation also has been recently pushed by the National Rifle Association and other gun-rights groups.

This Video is a list of Crime statistics provided by the FBI and US justice department, in relation to the differences between White And Black crime rates and a comparison of the amount Crimes Blacks and Whites commit against each other. Link on screen gives most information for the video. For others ask which specifically and I will provide them.

The purpose is in no way to suggest that all Black people are Criminals, merely to show the difference in the sheer amount of Crimes committed, in relation to their proportion of the population.

The only category Blacks don't commit a higher percentage of crimes in comparison to their percentage of the population is DUI http://www.fbi.gov/about-us/cjis/ucr/crime-in-the-u.s/2012/crime-in-the-u.s.-2012/tables/43tabledatadecoverviewpdf

-Blacks 39 times more like to commit crime against whites
-35,000 black on white rapes reported per year
-9 (nine!) white on black rapes
(This means that every day, over 100 white women are raped or sexually assaulted by black men)
-Over 3000 black on white gang rapes
-White on black gang rapes "so rare" they do not even show up on statistics.

To all the liberal posters out there, how can you possibly argue with DOJ STATISTICS?

Any solution should involve the parents of those black youth getting thumped real hard for raising mouthy little pieces of shit. I've got no sympathy for any of the blacks involved, they've wore out their welcome in America.

Oh, is that what this discussion is about?

I'm sorry, I thought that it was about a cop(s) gone mental.

My bad.

So yeah, let's let the cops go mental on anyone that they want because of your racist views.

Got it.

You're confused brother.

I'm sorry, I missed the parts of blacks in the streets of a pool party near McKinney with torches and desirous of burning down houses.

Again, brilliant thinking there Einstein, let's let the cops nullify the Constitution de facto, break the same laws that they are put in place to enforce, and arbitrarily go mental and psycho on people behaving civilly.

Yeah, what an absolutely brilliant idea. As I said, you are blinded by your racist views to the extent that you're willing to cut off your arm to spite your hand.

I don't think I've ever read such repetitive foolishness here before.

Look, this cop may be great at 99% of the aspects of policing...this certainly falls in to that 1%...

Here's a HUGE problem, it starts with Dad-as-the-idiot:

But Jahda Bakari, 13, who lives in Craig Ranch, said there were no drugs or alcohol at the party, which had been planned for several weeks and was promoted on social media.

Initially, most of the teens at the party were from Craig Ranch or nearby neighborhoods, she said.

“The party was mainly black kids,” she said. “We all knew each other.”

Jahda said tensions escalated when uninvited teenagers began jumping the fence to get into the party and police responded.

Her father, Jahi Bakari, said he understood why some of the partygoers reacted to the police with alarm.

Bakari said he tells his children to run from the police if they haven’t done anything wrong, because of concerns about police brutality.

“The kids saw four police cars, and they started running,” he said. “Being a black youth today in this climate, after Ferguson and Baltimore, I would’ve done the same — I tell them, ‘You see the cops, you go.’ There’s nothing but bad things that can possibly happen. This is a case of truth right here.”

Nobody was necessarily 'worked up' over the initial (very stupid) series of events.

Minor league duldrum, actually.

What we were waiting for was 'the next shoe' to drop, and what the usual instigators would drum up afterwords.

And it will be interesting on WHO called the cops on the first call, and how the usual instigators play this (dead issue) even out.

High horse? That's hilarious for someone that condemns anything just because a black person is involved. Perhaps you should take your own suggestions.

Otherwise, I didn't see anything out of control with them anymore than with anyone else in that video. If there's other video, post it. Nothing I've read suggests any different either.

Absolutely nowhere did we read "blacks crash white pool party" and it was clear that at least some of those white kids knew some of the black ones.

Look, I realize that there are problems beyond problems in black communities and within the black demographic, but where I live there are quite a few intelligent and civil black people. Unlike you, everytime one happens to be in a video I don't blame the black community at large for any and all problems associated with it.

Otherwise, you in your brilliance, once again, completely missed the point. Completely.

As such, just remember, if/when the cops go psycho on you, just STFU and suck, be the man that you seem to think that you are, and suck it up. If you're going to defend that behavior, and you have and are simply due to your racist views, then I have no idea why you're even here.

For me it's just one more example of how uncivil our society has gotten.

Part of me still cannot believe that cops behave like this, and as I stated before, it's clearly epidemic.

Why can't they behave like decent and civil human beings? It's because the establishment does not want them to.

You are correct that we cannot do anything about it, but we can ask what the point of anyone posting here on any topic then is, right. After all, we really have no ability to change much of anything that's discussed here. We discuss it to vent and hopefully to make a few others aware of the problematic nature of it all that will quite likely impact them one day too.

Funny too, many people that think it's no big deal all of a sudden do a 180 when it happens to them. But how can they then expect others to see it their way if everyone must first be personally impacted prior to getting it.

You're right though, and on that note, once again I find myself questioning why I waste any time at all here.

I've come across more than my share as well. And even 25 years ago I cannot recall any that ever approached me without assuming that I was doing something illegal, yet, I've never even been arrested, not even once. I also find that when I give it back them, sternly but professionally, they typically back down.

Is this what cops are supposed to be/do? I don't think so. If they focused on actual stuff instead of making shit up then this world and country would be a far far better place.

As to good/bad cops, again, there are two sayings that the establishment absolutely loves to spout off, but which they themselves seem to believe that they're exempt from:

Not saying "no" is just like saying "yes."

... and ...

If you see something, say something.

Cops and LE want everyone else to do those things, but when it comes to them they want us to shut up and keep it to ourselves.

Again, once these so-called "good cops" begin to police their own, pun intended, then perhaps people won't paint the entire corrupt group with the broad brush that they've earned.

Today I think I'd shit my pants in sheer and utter disbelief if ever a cop walked by me said "hi" and smiled.

This scares me more than a little bit, the increasing chance of it happening in North Texas is unacceptable.

This scares me even more, sitting in a restaurant, minding my own fucking business, while the cops take a break and allow it to happen when if they had done their fucking jobs everyone there would have been safe. This is the part that you seem to be willfully oblivious to.

And where were our heroes? Not a one in fucking sight! Too dangerous for our law-enforcing heroes apparently. I've been in those restaurants, there's absolutely no alternate way out of there.

I haven't seen any of it. You haven't anted up when I've asked for it. Instead you just run off at the mouth in your racist ways.

Sorry, but that doesn't help.

Either way, clearly you're too stupid and far from intelligent enough to be able to sort through the differences in what I'm actually talking about.

Then you sit there and scratch your noggin as to why problems in our country exist with attitudes and the complete lack of ability to dissect a situation and properly analyze it.

No wonder we're fucked, take a good long look in the mirror and you'll see a part of the problem intellectually speaking.

Either way, you're a full blown racist.

Your breakdown and inability to process anything that I've said precedes you. Like most Americans, and the cops, your rage precedes you!

Like I said, when they come for you, just sit back, STFU, and tell yourself that you've invited it. The nice thing, for you, is that you'll be in very good company.

If I don't respond to you anymore it's because I've put you on ignore and really don't want to hear anymore of your racist views.

I believe web sites have to begin with "http:" in order for auto hyperlinking to work. As I recall, programming it to auto hyperlink anything that contains a ".com" in it made too subject to hyperlinking things that were not supposed to be hyperlinks.

So if you add "http://" in front of a web address, it should auto hyperlink just fine.

As such, just remember, if/when the cops go psycho on you,

Thinking back, I've always had the ability to have a rational two-way conversation with every cop I've ever met, even the ones who I disagreed with. Of course, I don't run my mouth against them and spout "I'm a sovereign citizen!!" and other bullshit. And that's right here in North Texas with all of the heavy-handed RACIST police who were tobacco-chewing rednecks and every other stereotype you can assign to them.

Those "youth" at that neighborhood were NOT INVITED and were TRESPASSING and were ENTITLED BRATS who should have been beat with rubber hoses in front of their parents.

I think I like your answer best out of the 187. You've had better cops to deal with -- being "racist" normally gives people a virtual PhD in one of the most crucial subject affecting any society! But I will say much of the time I to have managed an adult conversation with cops when pulled over. Suspect this results in more warnings (less tickets) than some approaches. Yeah, it's partly luck.

Ann Coulter puts this McKinney business nicely in context:

http://freedomsback.com/ann-coulter/immigration-hey-look-a-cop-yelling-at-a- black-girl-in-a-bikini/

The media are indeed criminal on this. The make such a story the Second Coming while ignoring much more substantive and ominous police brutality going on every day.

What do you mean by that?

For myself, as I explained to lod in another thread, I've never been offended by racial names.

Growing up I saw a lot of nigger shit firsthand, and back then we called it for what it is. I've told some of the stories here. I'm not afraid to call a nigger a nigger.

However, I don't believe all blacks are niggers. I've had black roomates and coworkers both male and female and had no problems related to race.

As a Christian I believe that every human is created in the image and likeness of God & that we should love one another, (but that doesn't mean being reginald denny'd by a mob of crazed niggers during a riot).it would not be immoral in the least to mow em down if necessary to save your life.

1992 the day of the rodney king riots my oldest sis lived on catalina island and was scheduled to take the boat to san pedro.to visit. I had to drive thru COMPTON to pick her up. I stopped by my folks house and my other sis, her boyfriend, my mom, dad and I watched on live tv reginald denny get his brqains bashed in. They were ozzing out onto the street!! Ill never forget it! And I had to drive thru that???

I had no qualms about mowing such MFers down if need be. Made it there safe and sound but everyone I know carried in their car for weeks afterwards.

Whites are automatically "intolerant" and people of color have their "rights".

From experience, over a long life and living in major cities, blacks in particular are taught hatred.

He was given two options, 1) resign, or 2) be brought up on charges and tried, with the outcome per-determined. He made the right call, and speaking of calls, good luck to the decent citizens of McKinney should they become victims of little nigger bastards who decide to invade their property uninvited. The police response time will be a lot slower. See the Ferguson Effect.

By the way that oldest sis, who in high school had been attacked by mobs of niggers who jumped on hef white gremlin screaming get whitey (she has blonde hair too) this was during alex haleys ROOTS mimiseries, kunte kinta and all that.

When she saw all the rodney king riots on tv in catalina she cancelled her trip, but the phone lines were down so she couldn't get a call thru.

I have many more nigger stores like the time they robbed my lemonade stand and we chased them down,

Or the time me and larry were chased by niggers, we split up but they caught him. My dog pepper (half coyote) warded them off. Even tho larry wasn't her owner, pepper protected him!

My middle sis was accosted by niggers on haloween, they punched her in the stomach and stole her pillow case plum full of candy. Ill never forget my brawler brothers formed a posse to hunt theculprits down.

I could actually write a book on niggers! The late 1970s early 80s was a rough time in L.A.

Unless I missed something, and I watched all videos presented, I didn't see any "crazed mob of niggers." In fact, I saw plenty of non-blacks too.

What I saw was something that would have been dispersed simply by the cops showing up, as appeared to be happening, in the old days, with the cops not chasing anyone, not shouting obscenities demonstrating that they've lost all personal control and have no discipline.

I saw a simple problem whose outcome was exasperated and the situation worsened by the cops' actions.

Again, if I missed something please post it.

I wasn't even referring to this incident specifically, and I haven't even watched the vid. I was referring to my experience with blacks in general as all my stories, pro and con, brought me to my position.

You see, I sort of see both sides here. On the one hand, you know I'm not a white separatist . Although that's their peogative as people thru the ages stick to their own and there's nothing wrong with it. Hatred of other races, on the other hand, as I said above, is sinful in Christianity. The term nigger to me means a black thug, just as cholo for a mexican thug or mafio.so for italian thug.

These terms simply don't bother me as they do some, #1 because I'm not afraid of words or opinions, #2 because of my experience in this matter I know all about niggers, and I don't like them, and the title sometimes fits.

I assume that the people here with these what appear to be anti black views have a deeply ingrained life experience which resulted in their opinions. I would love to know what those experinces were, because I find it interesting, but not too many people are like me and always like to tell personal stories. LoL.

Thanks! Before I was into 911 and politics and the horror of the NWO, I had quite a following with a colum I wrote in the 90s called the weekly gripe report. I was new to the internet and developed quite a following and then started a radio show at a small station in hollywood , it was called the gripe show. During that time I did a great interview with a vietnam vet which would make anyone cry, wow and that is when I covered the los angeles laker championship (the first in their string after many years of losses) I interviewed many celebs there and then in the finale the lapd actually started this riot.

The news said that rowdy hooligans started it but that is bogus. Now mind you id never have believed this shit if I hadn't been there, I still have it all on tape. It actually changed my life. And 2 months after that was the national democratic convention in LA at the staples center (same place as the lakers cop riot) so this time I began to sniff out the rot of the lapd because I knew how dirty they were firsthand.

They started riots there too. Only one year later was 9/ 11, and these two events actually prepared my foundational understanding to see 9/11 for what it really was, in october 2001:

One of these days ill post the show. I called lapd live on air and they denied all of it and I interspeersed the audio of them making me and 50 other bystanders, including guests of the Indiana Pacer NBA players, close to a burning nbc news van. Who the fuck would go ten feet away from a van engulfed in flames?? I was so red hot pissed at these evil lying monsters it was unreal.

True first hand account of the so-called Lakers 'riot', ten years ago: LAPD started it http://libertyfight.com/archives/2010/Lakers_riot_june_2000_cops_started _it.html

I agree with that generally. The difference is that this thread is about that video. I'm curious what you think of it. Because some comments were made about the blacks in it, but in the beginning as everyone starts running, it's blatant that there were plenty of white kids too. Which is why I'm perplexed at some of the response. All I'm told is "what happened prior to that," but when I ask where they got their info they provide none validating "what happened prior to that" to only implicate the black kids here. In fact, the black kids seem quite well spoken, not like black kids from a highly problematic area or cultural background.

That's my issue. The blacks in Baltimore, yes, that's one thing, thugs. The ones here I just didn't see it, and sure as hell not to the point where a cop twice the size and infinitely more body-armored that a teen girl in a bikini not even with shoes, had to be taken down and have the swine's knee shoved into her back for "not doing what he said."

That does not command respect. It's fear, really TERROR driven tactic, which imo makes him more of a terror-ist than the type of cop that's good for a civil, decent, and humane society.
