Title: Please Pray for My Wife

For about a month now, my wife has had swollen lymphnodes in her pelvic area. She has a high white blood count and elevated liver enzyemes. Our doctor called back and asked for an immediate re-scheduling which will be Friday at around 4pm after lab results came back on Wed. And as of right now, ya'll know just as much about the situation as we do. It could be any number of things to a simple infection on up to things I don't even want to think about at this time. Please pray for us. As soon as this is posted, I will probably copy this over to LP and then go to bed. Thanks in advance for prayers and thoughts. I will be back sometime tomorrow evening or night to give an update. Thanks.

Prayers for your wife's health and wisdom for her doctors.
If Tyranny and Oppression come to this land, it will be in the guise of fighting a foreign enemy. I'm glad I checked in here before heading to bed, scooter. This prayer warrior will be praying for mrs. scooter, and yourself, too. This sort of thing can be quite scary to have 'hanging' over ones' head.
This is weird... I myself have had enlarged lymph nodes in my left armpit, very sore. I should probably get checked out after reading this.

You are truly one of my best friends and I know from our conversations how nuch you and your wife love each other and are devoted Christians and how much you two do to help others in need. Put all your burdens on Jesus Christ and He will see you and your wife through this. I know God and Jesus Christ love you deeply. I will daily be asking Jesus to intercede with the Father on behfalf of your wife to heal her and to give you and her the strength, courage and comfort to get through this. Oh, what a friend we have in Jesus. Trust Jesus and God with all your heart mind and soul, no matter what happens and THEY will take care of the rest. God always knows what is best for those who Love Him even if we do not always see or understand. I love you and your wife as a brother in Christ.

Thank you everyone for your prayers. We know some things and still don't know about others. We KNOW it is NOT the dreaded "C" word, cancer. She still has a slight infection accoring to the lab results and we will be seeing a gynacologist (sic) next week. The white cell count was not high enough to cause a concern for leukemia or lymphoma. She has been fighting off a sinus infection lately which could easily be the reason for all of this. Its just the fact of having swollen lymph nodes in her pelvic area that has made us seek medical opinions in the matter. These nodes will swell and shrink to various "lumps" and have been doing this for about a month now. This is good news. I know not all of our questions were answered, but the big one was. Thanks again to everyone.

I'm so happy for you, scooter. The elevated white cell count is often indicative of infection so this could very well be what it is. Keep us updated. I've said a prayer.
