The brutal aftermath of a violent confrontation last Friday between the police and a man in Salinas, Calif., was captured on camera, uploaded to YouTube and shows what the police chief there described as horrific and inflammatory.
The video, which was shot in a shaky minute-and-a-half, does not show what caused several officers to repeatedly strike the man, Jose Velasco, 28, with batons while he writhed on the pavement in the middle of the street.
Just a few feet away, several lanes of stopped traffic watched the scene unfold; the video appeared to be shot through the rolled-down window of one of those cars.
Clearly, Jose failed to comply as he flopped there having his skull beat into a pulp.
The most dangerous man to any government is the man who is able to think things out... without regard to the prevailing superstitions and taboos. Almost inevitably he comes to the conclusion that the government he lives under is dishonest, insane, intolerable. ~ H. L. Mencken
Or an illegal. Nonetheless, both brought here willingly by FedGoob.
Problem, reaction, solution.

I see two problems and they're somewhat independent.
One is the problem of scumbags. Actually that's both problems.
non-LEO scumbags and LEO scumbags.
There seems to be plenty, as in a vast majority, of opinion within the non-LEO community and speaking out against the scumbags within it.
Unfortunately within the LEO community there is precious little, and then only when "busted" or absolutely necessary for media reasons, speaking out much less policing of scumbags within it. We constantly here about the "good cops" that apparently are so appalled with this behavior. It's clear, they're so appalled that none of those "good cops" ever attempt to stop that behavior while it's in progress. It's always an after-the-fact pat on the back, wink-wink-nudge-nudge, "you shouldn't have done that pard."
Scumbag societal loser filth on one side, scumbag LEOs acting without any civil restraint much less human decency on the other.
Best course of action is to just keep a low profile and stay out of both of their way. Unfortunately they both come actively looking for if not outright seeking trouble from those living peacefully.
Were I the judge in Jose's case, I'd prolly let him off for time-beaten.

Lemme guess, the pigs or D.A. is going to try and prosecute the driver for using a hand held device while driving (one of the states big revenue sources since arnold signed it. Into law). ...
Years ago, there was a case where a police pursuit ended with the passenger, a young iraq vet, being ordered by cops to put his hands up. He did so. This occurred outside this illegal aliens house so the illegal began filming the action. Then all the sudden the cop unloads his gun into the guys back (the guy who had been complying with his hands up,)
The poor fool who recorded this then called the police. For some reason they didn't just erase it and kill him too. The iraq vet actually miraculously survived. The homicidal pig was charged with murder, but a jury actually let him off scot free. Freaking amazing shit. The city paid millions in a settlement, and DHS, even though they allow and ship in millions of illegals and give them guns and drugs, they deported the illegal who dared film a cop murdering an innocent man.
