Well over 100,000 people were participating in the parade, police said, while Israeli media put the number at 180,000. The event also drew thousands of people from around the world. Large sections of Tel Aviv were shut for traffic and loud music blasted along the parade's route. Streets were packed thick with people waving rainbow flags and dancing. The theme of this year's parade, which was the city's biggest ever, was "Tel Aviv loves all genders." Among the visitors was Conchita Wurst, the bearded Austrian cross-dresser who won last year's Eurovision song contest. "There are just beautiful people here," Wurst told Israel's Channel 2 TV. Rafael Anibal from Madrid said it was an "amazing party." View gallery People participate the annual Gay Pride Parade in Tel

"I have been to many gay pride parades around the world and this is one of the best," he added. A man dressed in a big white bow tie and sleeveless vest, who gave his name as Matteo Zakari, visited from Poland. He said "the people are amazing, the weather is amazing, I love Tel Aviv. The music is some of the best in the world." Israel has emerged as one of the world's most gay-friendly travel destinations in recent years, in sharp contrast to the rest of the Middle East where gay culture is not tolerated and gays are persecuted and even killed. Across the rest of the Mideast, gay and lesbian relationships are mostly taboo. The pervasiveness of religion in everyday life, along with strict cultural norms, plays a major factor in that. Same-sex relations are punishable by death in Iran, Mauritania, Saudi Arabia, Sudan and Yemen. Gays serve openly in Israel's military and parliament, and many popular artists and entertainers are gay. However, leaders of the gay community say Israel still has far to go in promoting equality. There is no gay marriage in Israel officially, primarily because there is no civil marriage of any kind. All Jewish weddings must be conducted through the Jewish rabbinate, which considers homosexuality a sin and a violation of Jewish law. But the state recognizes same-sex couples who marry abroad. Among most Palestinians, gays tend to be secretive about their social lives and some have crossed into Israel to live safely. In the West Bank, a 1951 Jordanian law banning homosexual acts remains in effect, as does a ban in Gaza passed by British authorities in 1936. The only other parade in the region that comes close to the scale of the one in Tel Aviv is in the mainly-Muslim Turkey's largest city of Istanbul, where up to 70,000 people are estimated to have participated in the past two years. Started a decade ago, the parades were initially small gatherings but are now bringing out tens of thousands of people. Turkey's Islamic-rooted government tolerates the festival as part the country's bid to join the European Union. The city also separately hosts a transgender pride parade. ___ Associated Press Writer Suzan Fraser in Ankara, Turkey, contributed to this report. Poster Comment: Yahoo poster... LGBT HANDBOOK FOR DEALING WITH HATERS..... #1. If someone disagrees with you, use the word "hate" as often as needed. Even though their argument might seem valid, accusing the other person of being a hater will usually cause them to back down. Most people don't want to be thought of as hateful. #2, The phrase "ignorant" or "ignorance" is very effect no matter now intelligent the opponents argument might seem. Remember, if they agreed with the homosexual lifestyle, then they wouldn't be ignorant, right? #3. The name "bigot" or "bigoted" is very effective at conjuring up images of racism. It is very important to equate our cause with the Civil Rights movement of African Americans. Most young people will not be able to distinguish between civil rights movement of the 1960s, and sodomy rights of today. #4. Bring up news stories about Christian hypocrisy. Even if the opponent isn't a Christian, assume that the are. Always bring up the moral failings of others. This is a great distraction and will often shift the conversation down a trail that confuses the bigot. #5. In case the hater that you are debating starts to corner you with logic, a great fallback technique is to accuse them of being a "closet case" gay. This usually catches them off guard and they will have trouble responding. #6. It is perfectly ethical to use any scientific study that has been discredited. There is a gay gene. It's just that science can't seem to find one yet. But it must exist #7. Totally reject anything presented by the opponent from THEIR point of view. Do not consider anything they say. It is just a trap to get you to think for yourself. Post Comment Private Reply Ignore Thread Top Page Up Full Thread Page Down Bottom/Latest Begin Trace Mode for Comment # 2.

It is my understanding that jew land has more fags per population that any other country. I also read that a number of fag elected people from the US of A are there at jew lands request.
I subscribe to the theory that homosexuality is an "imprinting" error. Throughout the animal kingdom newborns become attached to their own kind and their behavioral traits through an imprinting process which then shapes future behavior. In the case of a human individual if mind and hormonal circuits happened to be primed for "action" but the interacting person is likeable and of the same sex then a sexual attractiveness is developed for that particular gender unless quickly extinguished by error checking. Jews are particularly prone to this because of marginal IQ, ten points below average. http//www.jewwatch.com//jew-occupiedgovernments-israel-iq.html Error checking is an important component of IQ, in addition to mental speed, persistence and the ability to readily switch cognitive pathways.

Since you're offering cool analysis instead of billowing emotion on this, do you think homosex could be one of nature's means of population control? I do -- am a staunch Christian but try to be practical one. In populationomics Garrett Hardin is my guru -- and I owe that, like so much else, to Instauration. GH's views get called shocking, extreme and hateful..... despite being something like the basic obvious truth of the matter.
