He rules under the philosophy that all power should be separated and held exclusively by the executive branch, at least for as long as hes the dictator. As evidence of his beliefs, the executive branch is violating the intent of the amnesty injunction issued by Judge Andrew Hanen as it relates to a service center originally obtained for use as an amnesty processing facility in Crystal City, Virginia. Rather than halt the staffing and other procurement efforts as a result of the injunction, the administration is continuing to open what they are describing as a new, fifth service center, to be named to Potomac Service Center. Theyre continuing to do what they were ordered not to do, but calling it something different. If the regime is somehow successful in forcing the lifting of the injunction, the site could be converted to its true and originally intended purpose much more quickly as an operating facility than if there were no ongoing operations or personnel in place. Senate Republicans sent a letter to the administration last week expressing their concerns over what appears to be a deliberate circumvention of the judicial mandate. Senators wrote: USCIS decision to unilaterally establish and open another Service Center without prior congressional consultation and despite the passage of any law that expands authority to grant benefits to foreign nationals calls into question the need for such a center, whether taxpayers and legal immigrants will be unjustly harmed, and whether such a center is being established, in potential violation of the injunction issued by the District Court in Texas, to put hundreds of adjudicatory personnel in place in order to immediately implement the DAPA program were the injunction to be lifted. It seems the administration ploy has fooled nobody, but technically they may be able to continue, with no demonstrable violation having taken place. The State of Texas is reviewing the federal governments actions. Attorney General Spokeswoman Cynthia Meyer, who said, We are aware of the matter and are reviewing. Attempting to split legal hairs, the USCIS claims that the activities for which the Potomac Service Center is now designated do not violate the injunction. A USCIS spokesman told Brietbart News last week, To be clear, no activities at this service center or any other USCIS facilities are currently underway that are covered by the injunction. Currently underway is the key designation and the feds have clearly not complied with the intent and the spirit of the Judges order. The regime has no problem wasting millions of taxpayer dollars to operate an unapproved service center in the interest of circumventing immigration law. This is the type of misbehavior one gets when word-parsing criminals are running the federal government. Its typical of the despotic Obama White House. I love the way they use the word "service". Invasion "service centers", public "service", military "service" et al. So mellifluous, so dignified and perfectly proper-sounding!
