And of course you can guess what happened as soon as they heard normal, conservatives protesting the strange transformation. In their words, anyone who doesn’t subscribe to the idea of transgender as the new normal is “despicable.” That’s right, people who protest the idea of men dressed as women being allowed in the girl’s room are despicable. And when Mike Huckabee made the argument against transgender transformations they tried to put him on a cross. Hollywoodlife.com wrote about Huckabee’s speech. In today’s edition of the world’s most despicable humans: Mike Huckabee is throwing in his two cents on the subject of trans issues and transgendered people, and oh does he have some special (and infuriating) thoughts. And to think, this man could be the next president of the United States– well, he thinks he could be, anyways. Just a few weeks after announcing his 2016 presidential campaign, a video has surfaced of Arkansas Governor, Mike Huckabee, making outrageous comments about what it means to be transgendered. The comments were made in Nashville at the National Religious Broadcasters Convention this past February, however, that they have leaked today, in light of Caitlyn Jenner‘s introduction to the world, makes them all the more prescient. According to Huckabee, being transgendered would have really helped him while he was in high school. Brace yourselves. “I wish that someone told me that when I was in high school that I could have felt like a woman when it came time to take showers in PE,” Huckabee said. “I’m pretty sure that I would have found my feminine side and said, ‘Coach, I think I’d rather shower with the girls today.'” he added, while the crowd laughed and cheered. “You’re laughing because it sounds so ridiculous doesn’t it?” Well, define “it,” Mike, because someone here definitely sounds ridiculous. Believe it or not, that might not even be the most nausea-inducing bit of the speech. “For those who do not think that we are under threat, simply recognize that the fact that we are now in city after city watching ordinances say that your 7-year-old daughter, if she goes into the restroom cannot be offended and you can’t be offended if she’s greeted there by a 42-year-old man who feels more like a woman than he does a man,” said Huckabee. Looks like the first amendment isn’t well tolerated by liberals. They’re allowed to say and do heinous things, but as soon as a conservative does it the world’s ending. Equally alarming is the movement to label Jenner a “hero.” If dressing in women’s clothing and wearing high heels make someone a hero, then there are quite a few 5-year-old boys who should win an award.
