Myself, I used to despise democrats, but am not above using them to (I hope) mark for destruction the republican party. I vote Libertarian, even though I don't agree with the whole platform. Lately I've been trying to recruit disaffected R's and also trying to get Greens to see the benefit of voting for environmentally concious L's. In the case of the latter, I point out that hoping the government is the answer is what gave the government so much power today. Seems to at least give them pause.

The Libertarian party is a sad joke. They've been around for about what, forty years now? How many Libertarian governors are there? How many Libertarian Congressfucks are there? How many LIbertarian Senatewhores are there? None, that's how many. Third parties have absolutely ZERO chance of winning anything in this country, the RepubliCrats have made damn sure of that. The Libertarian party is a sick joke. However, they have become a good source of really snarky jokes. You know what you call three Libertarians together in one room? Their national convention. You know what you call someone who's been a Libertarian for more than five years? Their Presidential candidate. You know what you call someone who believes that the Libertarians have a hope in Hell of ever accomplishing anything? "Special".
