Donald Trump wants Oprah Winfrey as his running mate: ‘We’d win easily’

Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump is already talking about his ideal running mate — in this case, television mogul Oprah Winfrey.

“Oprah would be great,” Trump told ABC News host George George Stephanopoulos. “I think we’d win easily.”

Stephanopoulos pointed out that Trump has openly wished to run alongside Winfrey for political office since 1999, when he told then-CNN host Larry King that he was exploring the possibility of running for the Reform Party’s nomination.
