It means the history of this heroic struggle will be written by the enemy; that our youth will be trained by Northern schoolteachers; will learn from Northern school books their version of the war; will be impressed by the influences of history and education to regard our gallant dead as traitors, and our maimed veterans as fit objects for derision
It is said slavery is all we are fighting for, and if we give it up we give up all. Even if this were true, which we deny, slavery is not all our enemies are fighting for. It is merely the pretense to establish sectional superiority and a more centralized form of government, and to deprive us of our rights and liberties. Maj. General Patrick R. Cleburne, CSA, January 1864 As predicted, members of the central government, their posterior-kissers in the media and the idiots of society have chosen to demonize the battle flag of my ancestors in the wake of the shooting in Charleston, SC, allegedly perpetrated by what appears to be a young man driven mad with the offerings of the all powerful pharmaceutical industry like so many before him who have resorted to uncalled for violence in order to appease the demons in their chemically tormented minds. Somehow, those who blame guns for violence, instead of looking to mind-altering legal drugs for answers have settled instead on a piece of cloth. To do otherwise would require cognizant thought as opposed to baseless emotional clap-trap. There seems to be some highly contagious form of cognitive disconnect on display here. When a White man on prescription drugs allegedly shoots nine Black people in the racist South, the blame is to be laid at the feet of the St. Andrews Cross displayed on a banner, guns, the demons in sheets known as the KKK and the aforementioned geographic racism. Yet, when Black people who are violently contesting "turf" on which to sell illegal drugs shoot and kill other Black folks working towards the same goal in the racially neutral North, specifically Chicago, evidently this is just business as usual. At least one would think so considering the lack of coverage and concern by the aforementioned "owned" media, professional race-baiters/extortion artists and the Black community in general. Evidently, Black lives only matter when they can be useful for political purposes and/or attacking the heritage and symbols of Southerners. Conveniently forgotten are the *Black Confederate soldiers and the dis-proportionally large number of Black slave owners in the 1830-1860's. The fact Blacks who fought for the Confederacy and also Blacks who owned slaves are never reported or purposefully lied about, for as George Orwell predicted, the concept of objective truth has been bred out of our society and in this time of institutional deceit telling the truth is a revolutionary act. This is also most visible as the Newspeak folks go about their racial divide propaganda and deceit. I believe it was yesterday that I heard one of the plastic heads on the lobotomy box draw the imaginary line from the Confederate Battle Flag to the KKK to the shooting in Charleston. Very few are aware of the huge presence and influence of the Klan in the early to mid 20th Century in this country. How many are aware they once appeared in a parade in Washington, District of Criminals, numbering over 50,000? If the talking heads, politicians and race-baiters are to be believed one would expect to have seen large numbers of those racist Confederate flags during that parade. The Klansmen did display a racist flag---but not the one you would imagine. You can take a look for yourself by clicking on the link at the end. What an amazing link, I'd never known that happened, thank you!
The most dangerous man to any government is the man who is able to think things out... without regard to the prevailing superstitions and taboos. Almost inevitably he comes to the conclusion that the government he lives under is dishonest, insane, intolerable. ~ H. L. Mencken
That is great! Despite a pitiful bedwetting article by a suspiciously-named Brit.
