In Britain, as many as four in 10 university students, who have paid an increased tuition fee, believe their courses were not worth the money they had to pay for.

Just over half of the students polled in a BBC Radio 5 survey, the state-run broadcaster, believe that their courses have been good value for money. Under the previous coalition government, university tuition fees were raised from £3,000 per year to £9,000 per year. Before entering coalition, the Liberal Democrats made a cast-iron pledge that they would not raise tuition fees. But when they formed a government with the Tories, they went back on their promise.

Director of the Higher Education Policy Institute Nick Hillman has pointed out that universities "don't have much more money" now, despite the skyrocketing tuition fees.

But Nicola Dandridge, chief executive of Universities UK, believes that there is no evidence to suggest that students have been put off going to university by the increased tuition fees.

Dandridge also believes that “the shift in England from public funding to increased fees means that students are understandably, and rightly, demanding more from their university courses. Universities are responding to this and are also improving the amount of information to students about courses to ensure that their experience matches their expectations.”

Now Zita Holbourne, who is with the ‘Activists Rising Against Cuts’ (BARAC), says the students have had no choice as “they can’t access the labor market. They can’t access any facilities and resources because of all the cuts.”

Students in England and Wales are faced with high tuition fees and extra stress over their courses as a result. Scottish students do not pay tuition fees, enjoying free university education. Campaigners have long called for free university education for all, saying that education is a right, not a privilege.

This is a warning to all students either studying in UK or will study: Majority of the UK academics including professors, doctors and university staff have military background and trained there before recruited in universities. They are too dangerous to you, your family and your country. Never trust them or discuss with them or collaborate with them in any issue. They are very deceptive trained spies and make sure always keep a safe distance away from them.

Universities in UK are fully controlled by zionist criminals and terrorists who just try to identifies intelligent students of other countries and eliminate them later on.

UK police, MI5 and MI6 have recruited hundreds of students and academics in all UK universities to work for them and these students and academics are receiving free education such as studentship or scholarship and research funding or get promotions for their dirty work. In fact they are funded by the education system but working for the UK intelligent services. This is in line with the British-zionist radicalization program in which they target and victimize muslim students and academics and through their thugs in universities they abuse, harass and torture their victims. Then they set traps for their victims on their criminal and terrorist operations.

[Anthony Forster]

UK has awarded false academic titles such as professor and doctor to hundreds of agents in order to work for the UK spy agencies undercover working in terrorist operations against other nations. Majority of the UK academics are deceptive and liar and their research and publications are all either lie or stolen from foreign students. They do not employ university staff or academics according to their qualifications but based on whether they can work for the UK intelligence services or not. UK government forced all UK academics to spy on their foreign students. Since then they have become government informants and receive promotions from these activities not their academic achievements . Foreign students in the UK must be very careful NOT to approach their lecturers or talk to them about their personal life or about their countries.

There are countless videos on tube on the subject: "Why college is a scam." I myself studies in a state university in the US. In computer science, only 3 semester of courses had anything to do with computer science, with no class in C++ (used in scientific world) or Cobol (used in business world).

[TRUTH]

Most courses in the UK are worthless as no Job opportunities specially college NVQ Diploma courses! Some people with qualification are working in Mcdonalds minimum wages!

[Jack] Jack » TRUTH ... maybe this is true, i mean most degrees, especially humanities, history ect, you can teach yourself, you can learn more that way. its typical capital system. 1) transfer most jobs overseas where people get paid less, 2) bring skilled people from other countries over to work for less and then less job opportunities like you said.

No doubt.

All knowledge and information is free on algore's interweb.

“The most dangerous man to any government is the man who is able to think things out... without regard to the prevailing superstitions and taboos. Almost inevitably he comes to the conclusion that the government he lives under is dishonest, insane, intolerable.” ~ H. L. Mencken

Campaigners have long called for free university education for all, saying that education is a right, not a privilege.

What isn't a right then? Shouldn't everybody get free groceries? The system wants college free so it can brainwash everybody harder.

This is quite the article. Normally the US, proudly serving as the new USSR, leads the way in all forms of evil. OK, maybe faculties have been Big Brothered here to the limit too. The UK is an infamous totalitarian madhouse, true.
