When President Barack Hussein Obama was convinced by his wife and two daughters last May to “evolve” on the issue of legalizing homosexual marriage, something he had long opposed, he said in an interview with ABC News, “At a certain point I’ve just concluded that for me, personally, it is important for me to go ahead and affirm that I think same-sex couples should be able to get married.”
Obama’s surprise “evolution” was totally unrelated to his looming and challenging election, of course, but it ignited concern among many conservatives and religious organizations. They contended that a presidential imprimatur conferred on gays who wanted to wed other gays would open the floodgates for myriad other non-traditional thinkers to demand recognition and legalization of their own non-traditional sexual inclinations and practices.
Less than two months later, those floodgates exploded with bizarre demands from every pervert imaginable, from necrophiliacs, to bestiality practitioners, to agalmatophiliacs sexually attracted to statues, doll, mannequins, etc., to be granted legal sanction to engage in their favorite indoor and outdoor sports and join their favorite dead bodies, hamsters, and Barbie dolls in unholy matrimony.
Not unexpectedly, by far most demands came from ardent proponents of legalizing pedophilia, such as the North American Man-Boy Love Association (NAMBLA), the pedophiliac-pederastic group that advocates for the abolition of consent laws that criminalize adult sexual contact with children.
As Jack Minor wrote in the North Carolina Gazette, “Using the same tactics used by ‘gay’ rights activists, pedophiles have begun to seek similar status arguing their desire for children is a sexual orientation no different than heterosexual or homosexuals.”
As often noted here, both the American Psychiatric Association and the American Psychological Association in 1993 yielded under extreme pressure from gay activists to remove homosexuality from their list of mental disorders. By then infiltrated by gays and homosexual apologists, in 1998 the American Psychiatric Association claimed “that the ‘negative potential’ of adult sex with children was ‘overstated’ and that ‘the vast majority of both men and women reported no negative sexual effects from childhood sexual abuse experiences.”
Completely in-synch with Jack Minor’s report, earlier this year two Canadian psychologists declared that pedophilia is a nothing more than “a sexual orientation just like homosexuality or heterosexuality.”
Van Gijseghem, a retired professor of psychology at the University of Montreal, clarified the pedophiliac confusion by stating, “Pedophiles are not simply people who commit a small offense from time to time but rather are grappling with what is equivalent to a sexual orientation just like another individual may be grappling with heterosexuality or even homosexuality.” Gijseghem added for emphasis, “True pedophiles have an exclusive preference for children, which is the same as having a sexual orientation. In other words, the actions of “true pedophiles” (as opposed to untrue pedophiles) are as natural as those of any other sexual predator so why not just accept them into the world community since, like homosexuals, they were born that way and even let them marry their young victims?
I’d like to know more about the sexual preferences and abnormal deviations of the APA leadership, about those Canadian shrinks, and about Mr. Van Gijseghem before I pronounce judgment on that whole motley crew as abnormal deviants committed to convincing normal people that they are as normal as normal people.
I’d sooner believe that Barack Obama has always been straight–contrary to claims by his Punaho School classmate Mia Maria Pope–than believe he or the APA or those Canucks or Prof. Gijseghem are serious. Until I make that determination, parents of young kids are advised to watch their children constantly and to immediately report any NAMBLA member or any other pedophile who becomes “friendly” with them. It might not be a bad idea for grieving families and owners of hamsters and Barbies to do likewise.
