He flew into the old Perrin AFB in Denison today, motorcade up to Durant, then on to OKC. Returning to old Perrin AFB tomorrow. The last POTUS to visit old Perrin AFB was JFK.....

He made a speech at the Durant high school and is going up to the prison at OKC, supposedly to participate in some kind of documentary about the prisoners. I'm guessing he's handing out more pardons?? I would love to see his motorcade shut down by the rednecks and an impromptu people's court hold him up for extensive questioning and a quick trial conclusion.

President Barack Obama will speak at Durant High School today after arriving in Denison, Texas, aboard Air Force One. In 1905 Teddy Roosevelt traveled through Durant,and today it is President Obama, who will unveil his exclusive “HomeConnect” initiative. His schedule is full and it will have him in Oklahoma City near sunset, according to White House officials. His itinerary is as follows: At 1 p.m. eastern time, the President was scheduled to hold a press conference at the White House from the east room before leaving the White House to travel to Joint Base Andrews to fly aboard Air Force One to Denison. He was expected to arrive at North Texas Regional Airport at 4:20 p.m. central time and then depart for Durant. Obama was scheduled to speak at approximately 5:45 p.m. at the Durant High School. the President will speak to a Durant audience, the Choctaw Nation and the entire United States. He will unveil his “ConnectHome” initiative and will meet with school children. His speech will be streamed to viewers in Durant watching from the Choctaw Event Center and will be streamed live on the Internet at Whitehouse.gov/live. At approximately 7:25 p.m, the President was scheduled to depart North Texas Regional Airport en route to Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma City. Gov. Mary Fallin plans to greet Obama when Air Force One arrives. “The President of the United States is always welcome in Oklahoma,” Fallin said in a statement. “I look forward to greeting him at Tinker Air Force Base.” State Rep. Dustin Roberts said traffic was backed up in Durant earlier this week because local residents were trying to catch a glimpse of helicopters and members of the President’s security detail who came to town. “It’s not every day that you see that down here,” said Roberts, R-Durant. “I know I’m super excited about seeing him.” The Choctaw Nation is Durant’s largest employer and also operates a major casino and resort, which includes a recently opened theater where rock band Aerosmith and country music star Luke Bryan both played in the last few weeks. “In the span of a month, we’ve had Aerosmith, Luke Bryan and President Obama,” Durant Mayor Stewart Hoffman said.
