I've heard everything from 'UFO INVASION PREPARTION' to 'PREPPING FOR WAR WITH RUSSIA' to 'OBAMA READY FOR MARTIAL LAW' to (fill in the blanks).

One (mine) realistic side scenario (LoL) is how will the gov deal with 20 million Californians who wake up one morning and have no tap water.

A group of soldiers drive 5 miles down a dusty lane and hike 1 mile past a driveway gate to a house just to tell the folks "Martial law is in effect! Don't leave your property!!"??? No.
