This Black Woman’s Response to George Takei’s Racist Comments is Brilliant

Following the recent legalization of gay marriage by the Supreme Court, former Star Trek actor George Takei issued some contentious statements about the court’s only black justice, Clarence Thomas.

Takei said that Thomas is,

“…A clown in blackface sitting on the Supreme Court. He gets me that angry. For him to say slaves had dignity… I mean, doesn’t he know slaves were chained? That they were whipped on the back?”

He went on to say that Justice Thomas was an “embarrassment” and “a disgrace to America.”

At least one conservative black woman took issue with Takei’s statements and felt compelled to create the following video to call him out.

“It takes a certain kind of racist to think that black people can’t have their own opinion,” the lady can be heard to say on the video.

“That’s the problem with the left, they think they own African Americans.”

An excerpt from the video:

“I do recall that it was Lyndon B. Johnson who said, “I’ll have those niggers voting Democrat for the next 50 years. And guess what? It’s been past 50 years and we are still doing it in vast numbers.

…These liberals need to check their privilege. Particularly their privilege about what we are allowed to think. African-Americans are individuals. African-Americans have their own brain, whether they decide to be liberal, or whether they decide to be conservative, we should not be slandered or given racial slurs because we decide what we want to believe.

George Takei, you are a racist. It doesn’t matter what you say, it doesn’t matter how you try to cut it, you’re a racist. You made a racist statement. I’m not giving you slack for it.”

Perfectly said; only LBJ said 200 years, not 50.

George Takei was Mr. Sulu on Star Trek.

About a thousand years ago.

An improbable series, improbable dress, manners and situations centered on a command room that looked like a Hollywood living room out of the 60s.

Honestly, whoever took this show seriously, let alone the actors that populated it?

If Takei hadn't been lucky enough to be on Star Trek he'd be trolling the San Francisco docks looking for sailors to blow for money.

Tell Takei, "political correctness is totally gay!"

John Howard says: There are 4 schools of economics:
Marxism: steal everything
Keynesianism: steal by counterfeiting whenever needed
Chicago school (Milton Friedman): steal by counterfeiting at a steady, predictable rate
Austrians: don't steal

A post-modern western in the age of LSD. Shatner/Kirk would never even pass psych screening for city park courtesy greeter, no way Starfleet, peace be upon them, would ever give him a spaceship..

Competence wasn't the point. They needed a token "white" Americanoid sharing their extreme wacko liberal Juepoint.

Educated beyond any sort of common sense.

Well, great.

I suppose I can add that expression to my vocabulary, as in "We have become a post modern nation."

That sounds kind of weighty, don't it?
