I'm not so sure a constitution is a good thing. As They've proven, it can be manipulated. All it really does is give THEM consent to rule you. Maybe it's time to go back and try to come up with something better.
Here's a great founding-father type Christian mind that calls it a terrible thing and exhaustively documents why:
I'll pass on the theocratic stuff, NN. It'd be open to the interpretations of different sects, then you'd have shylocks involved, debating endlessly and nobody getting anywhere. How about civilian based constitutional enforcement squads overseeing those in positions of authority and arresting and executing anybody who violates our constitution. Let's give it some teeth. :)

It is not the constitution that has failed us in its function. It is our own unwillingness to insist upon its equal application to all............ having over two thrids of our congress co-opted by dual citizens whos true allegence is not U.S. doesnt help any.
