The Pentagon took down the Joint Staff unclassified email system after Russian hackers attacked the emails of 4,000 military and civilian personnel. The email has been offline for the past 11 days. US officials called the hack the “‘most sophisticated’ cyberbreach in U.S. military history.” In fact, the level of sophistication is so high the officials did not rule out is a “state entity” took part in the hack. They also told The Daily Beast they are “creating mock hacking scenarios” before the personnel can access the system. The hackers used a “spear phishing attack” to obtain personal information on numerous users. The attack occurred on July 25, only 16 days after Marine General Joe Dunford, a nominee to be the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, told the Senate Armed Services that Russia is the greatest threat to American national security. Dunford placed Russia above China, North Korea, and the Islamic State because of its “rapidly expanding military.” “My assessment today, senator, is that Russia presents the greatest threat to our national security,” he declared. Relations between Russia and the West soured immensely after Moscow invaded Ukraine in March 2014, annexed Crimea, and issued threats against other former Soviet republics. The European Union and America passed numerous sanctions against Russian companies and oligarchs while NATO added more security to Eastern Europe nations who fear they might be Russia’s next target. US State Department spokesman Mark Toner fired back that Secretary of State John Kerry does not agree. “The secretary doesn’t agree with the assessment that Russia is an existential threat to the United States, nor China, quite frankly,” retorted Toner. “You know, these are major powers with whom we engage and cooperate on a number of issues, despite any disagreements we may have with them. Certainly we have disagreements with Russia and its activities within the region, but we don’t view it as an existential threat.” Kerry has also made similar claims, despite working close with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in the past 16 months. Kerry denied many times that Russian soldiers are stationed in east Ukraine until February, even though he constantly faced a mountain of evidence. He added more pain to American allies when he admitted Russian propaganda worked on him. “The question asked earlier about… how they present things and the lies about their presence in Ukraine and the training, I mean, you know, it’s stunning but it has an impact in places where it isn’t countered,” he said. “Propaganda works.”

Pure unadulterated bullshit. For anyone with half a brain cell, it's readily obvious that the US and NATO supported and financed the violent overthrow of the democratically elected government of Ukraine, Russia protected its naval base in Crimea, along with the population of that peninsula from the fascist government installed in Kiev. It is the US backed sock puppets in Kiev who are attacking the ethnic Russian population in Eastern Ukraine, declaring the civilians there "terrorists", and lying about everything there is to lie about, and of course offering absolutely no proof whatsoever of their wild claims, except for amateurish fake YouTube videos easily and readily proven to be fabricated and false. The residents of Donbass are not seeking more land or territory. It is Kiev doing the attacking, and Donbass is doing the counter-attacks. Now it appears that Nazis in the west, who made up most of the violent "protesters" in Maiden Square, are now growing impatient and restless where they wish to wage full scale war against Russia. Since at least those running Kiev haven't totally lost their minds and haven't done so, those Right Sector Nazis may now attack the US imposed regime on a new front, and have already had at least one armed skirmish with police. It is they who overthrew the Ukraine government with US help, and now that they are attacking their benefactors in Kiev, who will the US side with I wonder... As far as the Russian "invasion" of Ukraine, that is part of the complete and utter bullshit I mentioned. You could also include the Malaysian airliner shootdown being done by Russia or the rebels, the "Russian tanks" in Ukraine, and a lot of other debunked "news" from the US State Department and Ukraine propaganda mill, as well as the NY Slimes and other such trash. Breitbart must be a hardcore neocon. The link he used on his "mountain of evidence" points to a paid site which I'm not going to pay for, and if it were TRULY evidence of anything, it'd be available elsewhere.

The point is Happy, that no Russian tank invasions have taken place, Russia has not destroyed command and control systems of the Ukraine government, they have not launched an invasion of the country. That there might be small pockets of Russian personnel does not prove an "invasion". There is as much proof of US special ops and mercenaries fighting against the people of Donbass as there is of pockets of Russian forces helping the Donbass militias. Hell, the US has OPENLY sent military forces into Ukraine for "training" purposes. However, in a TRUE invasion of Ukraine, that nation would fall into Russian hands within days or less. If Russia was anything at all like the old Soviet Union in terms of hostile actions, that IS what would have happened at least a year ago. One question I have is why would the US and western media use old pictures from 2008 of Russian tanks in South Ossetia, claiming them to be pictures from 2014 of Russian tanks in Ukraine? A St. Petersburg Russian told me about a year ago: "This is Russia's Viet Nam." This was the flashpoint that IMO where the war started. The Odessa Massacre was 'Ground Zero,' and created a civil war that won't end for a long, long time. I understand the Ukranian/US/Nato/Russian sides of the story. I understand about the black ops.
