New York Times: All The Hillary News That’s Fit to Print
The heat is on Hillary.
She can’t seem to escape this whole email, private server, handling of classified information thing.
The Congress won’t let Hillary off the hook.
They want answers.
So the investigation continues.
And the Clinton Camp flexed its muscle and forced the New York Times to change its lede of the story announcing this new round of private investigations:
Here’s the revised version of the lede:

Here’s the original:

The original pinpoints Hillary as the target of the criminal investigation.
The NYT revision softens the implications of the investigation as mishandling of sensitive government information.

Even the liberal blog, Daily Koz, commented on the obvious difference on Twitter:

Yep, the original lede points the target of the investigation directly at Hillary.
