RT... A pre-trial hearing for five 9/11 suspects, currently held at Guantanamo, has been cancelled by a military judge over unresolved conflict of interests, a military spokesman said Sunday. In 2014 defense attorneys for Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and four alleged accomplices appealed to the court, saying that they were under surveillance of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, which created a conflict of interest between them and their clients. The allegations have been hindering the trials progress. In case of a guilty verdict, the suspects could be sentenced to capital punishment for organizing the 9/11 attacks which claimed lives of about 3,000 people.
