Univision anchor Jorge Ramos took on Donald Trump at a press conference held by the Republican presidential candidate in Dubuque, Iowa on Tuesday evening. The two went head to head for five minutes over birthright citizenship, how Trump would build a wall, how he would deport illegal immigrants and more. Trump fought back against Ramos and attempted to get him to acknowledge crime committed by illegal immigrants.

Earlier, Ramos was ejected from the presser for stepping out of turn.

Ramos asked Trump how he would erect a 1900-mile long border.

TRUMP: Very easy. I'm a builder. That's easy. I build buildings that are 94 --

(INTERRUPTION)

TRUMP: Can I tell you what's more complicated? What's more complicated is building a building that's 95 stories tall.

Trump battles Ramos on deportation

TRUMP: The one thing we're going to start with immediately are the gangs, and the real bad up ones. And you do agree there are some bad ones. Do you agree or do you think everyone is just perfect? No. I asked you a question. Do you agree with that? We have tremendous crime, we have tremendous problems -- I can't deal with this.

Listen, we have tremendous crime, we have tremendously, we have some very bad ones and I you would agree with that, right? There's a lot of bad ones. Real bad ones. Excuse me. They looked at some of the gangs in Baltimore, they looked at some of the gangs in Chicago, they looked even in Ferguson. They got some rough, illegal immigrants in those gangs.

They're getting out. You mind if i send them out? Now, if they come from Mexico, do you mind if I send them back to Mexico. No, no, do you mind if I send them back to Mexico? Okay. Those people are out. They'll be out so fast your head will spin.

Not sure why mAnn did the intro, but maybe there's hope for US all. Thanks.

lol - Trump doesn't need a warm-up act or introduction.

Just, "Heeeeeeeeeeer's Donald!" will suffice.

We disagree on that. Having introductions gets more people of interest involved, gives needed background on speakers, whets crowds' interest etc.

We had groundbreaking meeting in Columbia Saturday for recruiting new Constitution Party candidates to shake the GOPers up, and I spent about 15 minutes introducing our work generally and our legendary leader Dr. William Carter. Believe it or not, I just got a call (mainly about a kerfuffle caused there by a young Bircher) commending me on it including my attempts at humor.

The late, irreplaceable Dr. Robert Clarkson had somebody introduce every speaker at every meeting even if it was the same old cast of characters, and it really added.

Good point for the event in SC, but when Trump has to change venues two times to put 30K into a Mobile stadium, he needs no introduction after he circles the stadium three times in Trump 747 before entering the stadium.

People want red meat, not finger-food.

Her intro wasn't finger food, she brought major facts, a "second witness" and lissome blonde locks. Trump and I agree on this SOP, you dissent, it's a free country for 15 minutes longer. How many public events have you ever led? Wait a minute....... headline up top! TRUMP IS THE FIRST POLITICIAN EVER TO MENTION GANGS!!!

At such a point, he really starts looking serious. Of course, so did Weiner the Jue and Limbaugh the Jue in their "bait" periods.

He's serious alright, and he's going to keep nailing sacred cows that none other of the "approved" potential puppets will touch, 'till he lights up their lives on the matters.

People better believe that the Trump's for real, and he has the fire in his belly.
