Revenge race murder: Bitter black reporter who gunned down white ex-colleagues live on air and posted the video online blames Charleston shootings and anti-gay harassment in manifesto

Pair were filming for WDBJ at 6.45am in Moneta, Virginia, alongside local Vicki Gardner when shooting happened
Gardner was taken to hospital for surgery after being hit in the back while Parker and Ward died at the scene
Flanagan then used Twitter to post a video of the attacks alongside a rambling explanation while police hunted him
Also sent 23-page suicide note to news station saying he was motivated by the Charleston church killings
Said he bought handgun two days after killings, and added that his bullets 'have the victim's names written on them'
Flanagan had worked for WDBJ but was fired and escorted from the station's building after spats with coworkers
Flanagan's car was eventually found by deputies after he shot himself, and later died from his injuries at 1.30pm

A man who was fired from his job as a television reporter two years ago took revenge against the small-town Virginia news station by executing two of his former coworkers on live television, and then posting disturbing first-person video of the attack on social media.
Viewers of WDBJ, a CBS affiliate in Moneta, Virginia, watched in horror this morning as Vester Lee Flanagan II, 41, shot dead 24-year-old reporter Alison Parker and cameraman Adam Ward, 27, on live TV as the two were filming a light-hearted segment at 6:45am.
After carrying out the shocking on-air execution, Flanagan fled and posted video of the attack on social media while also writing about his grudges against the two young journalists in a Twitter rant.
He also faxed a 23-page manifesto-cum-suicide note to a national news station outlining his motives for the attack, saying he bought the handgun he used following the Charleston Church killings, adding: 'my hollow point bullets have the victims’ initials on them'.
Five hours later, police cornered Flanagan a three hours drive northeast in Fauquier County, Virginia where he shot himself in an attempt to commit suicide. Flanagan initially survived the gunshot wound, but died not long after at approximately 1:30pm

Reporter Alison Parker, 24, (left and right), died at the scene after being shot on live television, along with cameraman Adam Ward, 27. Ward's fiancee, a producer at the news channel, was believed to be watching from the control room as the killing happened
While Flanagan was recording the video on his own camera, the shooting was being played out on live TV. Above, a grab of this morning's WDBJ newscast with Parker on the left and Vicki Gardner on the right. Gardner was being interviewed by Parker at the time and suffered a bullet wound to the back. She is now in stable condition after undergoing emergency surgery
After cameraman Ward dropped to the ground, his camera kept rolling and the shooter is seen in the background leveling a gun at him before controllers at WDBJ cut the feed
The feed then cut back to the studio where the morning anchor had an expression of sheer shock on her face after witnesses the crime

The 1st Pic appears to have Masonic overtones twice by happenstance: the red and black themed outfits of Parker and Ward, as well as the white and black checker-pattern contrastings of Gardner and Ward's outfits. Since there's reportedly a racial-conflict angled, motivational-parallel with this in Virginia [State of the Confederacy's government capital] and the recent Charleston, SC villainy [South Carolina - 1st State of the South that seceded], am noting another of my observational opinionations, too, that the Confederate Battle Flag being removed from the "Civil War" Memorial on the premises of South Carolina's government capital by Troupers of the State Highway Patrol seems a sight more than merely a coincidental Police State signal by Guv. Nikki Haley of no Confederate Heritage herself. Why not Cadets of the Citadel, as when the flag was removed from the capital dome, or South Carolina's National Guard? Why indeed, unless they declined the egregious dishonor of removing that Confederate flag from a Confederate War Memorial of their State's Defenders.

Good point, Grey. No doubt about it; having the Flag jerked down by uniformed, badged, and armed thugs was clearly a Police State intimidation tactic.

South Carolinians quashed the political careers of Jim Hodges and David Beasley, two former governors who assailed the Battle Flag. Hopefully Nimrata will be looking for work at a tech support call center in 2019, but alas that's a long way off.
